When I was a teenager, I used to listen to NPR on my way to school. I always tried to time my trip so I could hear a guy named Baxter Black, who introduced himself as, among other things, a "retired large animal veterinarian." As of Friday, I am too. And I found this site out of nowhere the night before I left Michigan for Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, etc. I'm going to drive for a bit and find the right spot. I might to all the way the Oregon and then double back and settle in the place I like best. And then I'm going to figure out what I am going to do once I get there. It took me 44 years to get a few hundred miles from Oscoda. I don't have a real reason to put limits or preconditions on the rest of my trip. I am so looking forward to it......
