I've tried to do this before and no luck.
How in the world am I able to post a video from youtube into a forum thread?? ive tried every single piece of advice and IT DOESN'T WORK.

click the little earth with a link on it where you write the txt for your post, when you hover over it with your mouse it says insert link. Click on that and paste the link in there and press ok.

 

I don't even do that. I just post the url and the video is automatically embedded.
