It's so shitty because when she's not drunk she's a great person.

But when she's drunk I have like no feelings for her, it's just like an empty shell... Like, she's so dumb she can't even understand the things I talk about when she's drunk. It's fucking annoying.

It's like she's spaced out all the time... Even my friends notice it... Well their actually the ones who made me realize it.

lol when i was 15 and i drank i fucking champed shit. i was able to take pulls off the bottle all night long, while BEASTING at beer pong, and out smoking all of the 18-19 year old guys in the room.

but maybe that's just because i rule.

Last night i went out with a girl i have not seen for around 2 years.

What is really strange is how back then i was really insecure about myself for various reasons including being simply alone in my little bubble. I was barely 16, and basically she is the closest thing to a GF i have ever had, and only person i actually almost opened up to apart from my closest friends.
Back then she seemed out of my league, because of how hot she was but that did not really stop me - so i tried to start a relationship with her. We had few similar things in common, but back then i enjoyed drinking a lot so we would go clubbing and lame shit like that, simply because it was fun. Anyway, i sensed a lot of mindgames and general stupid bullshit going on because i was always honest and stuck to my word, whereas she would be a bitch impossible to understand, i just assumed she was more into assholes and i was probably well on my way into the friend zone considering how she treated me.

So i ended up loosing her number and simply parted until i ran into her a few days ago.
Last night, we got drunk and i was incredibly dissapointed and at the same time really assured. IDK, i consider myself to be growing, always trying to better myself as a person... What this led to was almost all of my insecurities solving themselves, because my view of life has changed so much due to activities in the last 2 years. So i was really dissapointed to see that this person stayed exactly the way she was, really dull and lifeless, and only able to have a good time while drunk. I just see this pretty container with nothing inside but a shallow little girl dependant on others for everything, i lol at the thought that at some time i actually liked her, having met her friends i am at ease since i think understand the mentality.

IDK, i feel lame about not having a real gf at this age, but relationship wise, from what i have to hear and observe, i am loosing out on very little. Best part is, i am free to enjoy the little things instead of force-dipping into bullshit scenario's little stupid girls stir up. Drama free life.

Anyway, soz for hijacking your thread CC, just thought recent random event might be relevant.

 

Green- not really much of a hijack as it kinda shows how to separate yourself from someone else's stupidity.. to not letting their shortcomings as a person not affect you. You've grown and she hasn't. CC is but one step behind you really- though I suspect he may place a higher premium on being in a relationship- depending on how strong that is can really skew someone's judgment... they cannot bear not being in a relationship.

Then again the good Captain may be experiencing a bit of buyer's remorse, relationship edition... surveying a bridge he may possibly have burned.

I know you're just 17, but there's a big difference between 15 and 17. Stop putting your immature girlfriend in those situations. Fucking 15 year olds shouldn't be drinking, they should hardly even be smoking pot, they do stupid shit. I mean, there are outliers, but they're easy to spot, and your girlfriend AIN'T one.
