I was out on my backporch smoking a bowl and I looked up and saw a shooting star, I think its the first one ive ever seen...it was beautiful
I've caught a few before. This past summer my friends and I were on our way back from NH and saw this weird green shooting star...We freaked out a little because it was a green thing shootng from the sky.haha.Oh well it looked cool.
I've seen many. The best one's iv'e seen were while camping, because the sky is brighter away from the city. But last year i got up for work around 2:30 am and went out on my porch to have my morning smoke, and saw a big ass flame ball going over. It wasn't moving as fast as a shooting star, and the flames were orange and yellow. It looked like a cartoon, or a sci fi movie prop. It lasted for around 4 or 5 seconds before it was out of sight. Nobody i knew, or worked with saw it. And i didn't here anything on the news. It was big and on fire, whatever it was. I guess it was cutting through the atmosphere deep enough to flame. And the drag was slowing it down. Just a guess, as i have no idea what it was. And no, i wasn't on anything.
absolutely.. the light pollution from cities can make the stars hard to see sometimes, unfortunatelty
fuzz, ive seen green ones too and orange into red ones. theres lots of showers in the sky. they start back up with heavy ones in april. ill post about it. they are so cool.
ones that are really close to you, yes. you can hear them.. I find these to be the rouges, never on a schedule showers have I heard one.. Ive counted many on schedule nights no sounds. Been outside doing something and woosh.. I saw a shooting star the night my dad died last nov. Single I did not hear it though,..
that's pretty awesome. i think i've seen at least one. shit like this makes me miss living in the middle of the woods. i just moved to a city a year and a half ago. most of my time before that i lived six miles out of a really small town. i could see the stars SO much better. i wanna go to the equator. i think it's there that you can see the stars much better, and see glaxies and shit like my desktop background lets see if i can show you
