I've seen many. The best one's iv'e seen were while camping, because the sky is brighter away from the city.

But last year i got up for work around 2:30 am and went out on my porch to
have my morning smoke, and saw a big ass flame ball going over.

It wasn't moving as fast as a shooting star, and the flames were orange and yellow. It looked like a cartoon, or a sci fi movie prop. It lasted for around 4 or 5 seconds before it was out of sight.

Nobody i knew, or worked with saw it. And i didn't here anything on the news. It was big and on fire, whatever it was.

I guess it was cutting through the atmosphere deep enough to flame. And the drag was slowing it down. Just a guess, as i have no idea what it was.

And no, i wasn't on anything.

that's pretty awesome. i think i've seen at least one. shit like this makes me miss living in the middle of the woods. i just moved to a city a year and a half ago. most of my time before that i lived six miles out of a really small town. i could see the stars SO much better.
i wanna go to the equator. i think it's there that you can see the stars much better, and see glaxies and shit
    like my desktop background
lets see if i can show you
