Why do girls cut their hair

and then always complain about it.
I KNOW NOT ALL GIRLS DO THIS.

But a lot I know do. They'll cut it then be like..."ohhh I miss my long hair so much. I wish it would grow faster"

haha. Just like...I know I look terrible clean shaven but every couple weeks I'll just get the urge to do it and then I'll bitch about it for a week.

 

I don't know... I've never regretted anything that I've ever done to my hair... I mean, it grows back...

 

i do it all the time. i hate getting it cut because i like length but then we get split ends. so we have to cut them and most girls dont like getting there hair cut but you gotta to keep it healthy

 

But...but...but, what about all those shampoo commercials on TV that show the split ends magically repairing themselves with just a wash and repeat?

I had curly long hair then I chopped it all up years ago, Im growing it back out now, usually I cut it to make it remain healthy and not have split ends

 

women get attached to their hair because most men fixate on it more than they think.

 

Most Irish women over 40(ish) seem to cut their hair, apart from the "alternative" ones

Its pretty sad as most of them look hagard enough as it is but with the short hair they just look like guys.

It makes it easy to point out the sound ones though

really? you don't see a girls long, healthy, beautiful hair, smell the shampoo they use and find it attractive? or a flattering, sexy cut? or a badass bald head?

i heard from men left and right all my life not to cut my hair, how they prefer long hair on girls. even when i took kai to get her hair cut short the guy who was cutting it asked me "how does her father feel about that?" blonde, brunette or redhead conversations.

it may not be something men are conscious of doing, but little words here and there, forgotten comments, obvious preference, etc. percolate on through every bit as much as breast size preference and whether a girl's butt is too big or not.

yeah, but they're all pretty much equal to me.
If a girl is beautiful or has a great personality, I've never considered her hair, you know what I mean?

Like...either way I've never seen a girl and thought, "ahh if only her hair was different". it just doesn't matter that much.
