I just finished the original print for my peace flyers. The printer cut off the top about quartar-inch of the peace sign, so I may do it over. Anyway, you can see the print at the link below, and feel free to print it off and circulate it yourself. The more that get out the better. http://img72.photobucket.com/albums/v220/nalencer/peacedude.jpg Peace, Nalencer
Well I'm extremely glad everyone likes them. Regretfully they are black and white so as to allow ease of copying. 200 copies! That's great!!
I really like that flyer. Im gonna print out around 100, I already have 4 different flyers up around my town about Peace and Bush and the war, with 100 of each of those around
This idea intrigues me... Hell, maybe if we start, we'll meet people with the same ideas and will be able to create what was in the 60's; it will be 'cool' to be into love and peace, thus stomping all these bastards in our generation that are selfish and cruel.
that would be cool if it would happen, but i dont think it will be exactly like it was in the 60s. and I think it is mainly because of todays music anyways staying on topic, Ive printed out 50 of those flyers and im gonna hang them around town tomorrow
great flyers...but not to be negitive but i dont think slogans are gonna change peoples minds why wast paper?...with all these people copying them out that is about 550 confirmed copys so far ...and all the other people that didnt give a # of copys , add them in to... but if u really think a slogan is going to be effective why not start a rally if u want to get you slogans out
I would start a rally but the problem is around here the only people I have to rally with are conformist rap/hip-hopers. So basically, a rally would consist of maybe five people if I really scrounged around and broke my back to find a day everyone could show up. Hence, flyers will need to be the starting point. And my thinking is this: maybe there's people around who think peace and love are good but don't show it for fear of ridicule or thinking they can't make a difference because they're just one person. If they see these flyers, with no sign as to who left them, so they can't be advertisements, they may think "wow! i'm not the only one who cares about peace!". They may start to get active for peace as well.
i think perhaps a flyer should have some kind of guidance with it though.... like it would be good to maybe put the url of this website on it so that people will come and learn what it's all about! however, i dont think that would be a good idea as it'd probably draw a few unwanted people too.... but something like that...i dunno.. just tossing round ideas. i like to scribble short bits of inspiring poetry and lyrics on little peices of paper and leave them on buses, in the park, wherever. hopefully they've made someone happy
I don't know what kinda guidance i could put. I don't wanna put this site, nor my site, because the boards would get filled with spammers...
well at least people will get the idea this way... i printed out around 50 of them and i'm going to hand them out next thursday night around town.
Wow! I'd say that besides me (I haven't made copies yet) that there's at least 400 copies made so far! This is brilliant! I'm so glad everyone wants to participate!
Nalencer, I've been passing out these flyers from your site (i think it's yours) for a long time now. School, mall, movies, everywhere. I made some of my own as well. Met some cool brothers doing it too. Good luck! It's fun to print them on coloured paper, try it!
