new nokturnal mortum album

is fucking dank. definitely not what I expected for them, they've tweaked their sound quite a bit, personally I think it's fucking awesome. beautifully folky interludes, a couple of pink floyd esque solos, upbeat melodies, its great.

 

Have to check it out soon!

I wouldn't say their old albums are bad. But this new one is definitely a huge step for the band.

I don't give a fuck about a band's message. If they have good music, I will listen to them. Nokturnal Mortum really surprised me with this one. I've had it since it came out, and it still hasn't lost its pizazz.

 

You don't have to indentify yourself with or support the message of a song, band or genre you happen to like.
