I had to explain to my baby girl today that you don't gave to pretend you're okay

We found a good home for our bunny. Yeah, seems mundane. But, man, he's the coolest bunny and he can't live
hapy here. As kai tried to smile and pretend she was okay for The new owner, complete with a n enormous fake smile, brittle giggles and tears running down her face. she tried to tell me about all those funny times he'dstomp on her foot and demand she pet him and I had to tell he it's okay not to pretend she's okay. And just when she's got
it together, her baby cat, my baby cat, begins to pee where she sleeps and is ovbviously not long for this world. I
can't take any more.

 

i'm very sorry. it's very hard to lose a member of your family, and your animals are certainly family members. you guys will be in my thoughts.

And to clarify...the cat was peeing and sleeping at the same time? or the cat was peeing where Kai sleeps?

 

the cat was peeing in our bed which also happens to be her bed.

yup, extremely. I think it's because she's so scared of the dog that she wont go where she's supposed to go, which is outside. I have a solution, though.

 

right now she's hiding behind my computer on the kitchen counter.

 

she was throwing up everywhere this morning. angus thought it was awesome.
