Dont take this the wrong way but think about your kids when you post photos like your sig and possibly a profession when needed
If my mother were to show me any pictures like this I would be mortified. I think most people will agree with me.
I think it has do to with being open with your children. If my mom showed me photos like that of herself I'd probably laugh.
Post whatever you like mama. =) Children view nudity in a much different light than children. Children raised around nudity view it very differently than children that weren't. My kids see me nude all the time, I'm not sure how a photo is any different.
it's either pics like that, or your kids end up being taught that beauty is a generic concept created by society (too much make up, unnatural expectations of what the body is supposed to look like, diet pill schemes(!), etc.) i mean... they're going to watch tv and see all this stuff anyways so why not counter it by making a lasting impact in their minds with your own beauty while their worlds are still so small. they're going to grow up and be like "My mom is sexy as fuck and i want to be as confident as she is" rather than "zomgZZ! i found a new way of doing my make up on youtube! ...oh crap i dont have that color... or that one (*goes to local beauty supply outlet*)". tink abert it.
Has anyone noticed how the majority of my posts end up in a debate of some sort? What's with that? I guess everything is an opportunity to teach, I mean, I use that philosophy with my children but never applied it to the interweb dreadlock sites until this one. You have a good point. And I am very open with my children. Open, honest and I offer age appropriate, truthful explanations for every question they've thrown at me so far. I don't think I am doing them any favors by being dishonest or distorting info, yk? My children see me nude as well. They also see me nurse, as does my nephew and he thinks nothing of it. In fact I think it's a good idea to show what a breast is made for every once in a while considering how it has become so sexualized in our culture when it's actually just just fatty tissue and mammary glands for the sustenance of our young Thank you! You are sooooo right.
Agree with you mamamojo, it is getting a little nuts how every time you post people have to try and say stuff. And agree with everything else you post said.
I took the dreads from up front, one on each side (the ones up by my forehead) and then I held them and I flipped my hair over completely and then I tied those two dreads together tightly and then I flipped my head back upright. You may have to adjust the height of the knot you've tied underneath cause it really puts all of your hair up high. If you don't get what I am saying I can take step by step pics, just LMK
Cus we need a little controversy... oh no I just quoted eminem if your opinion doesn't match everyone else's.. it doesn't count. - enjoy that's better Is she as hawt as mojo? (random story: My new manager at work was calling me Mr. Mojo yesterday... which led to some power puff girls discussion)
I meant to say "Children view nudity in a much different light than most adults. Children raised around nudity view it very differently than children that weren't." You mean you feed kids with that fat tissue... ew... lol
It was an opinion i dont see where a debate came into play but its cool you do what you want to do I got no problem with your pics personally but like DFTW said if i saw my mom like that id change my second surname . I remember not to long ago someone by the name of Diton got ran off the forums and banned for posting too many topics and pictures so that is why i make comments in new threads. This is an acceptable thread to post pictures so its all good but the dandruff was meant to start something imo
