    did anyone watch the opening ceremonies of the 2010 winter olympics?

    they had a number of different performers in different segments that were barefoot

    Today, the popular German biathlete Magdalena Neuner won Gold in a very spectacular race. That's no barefoot sport, but nevertheless I found a nice barefoot pic of her -- taken near the Bavarian village Wallgau, the place where she lives.

    Yep. They are. And because of that, THEY get to bare their feet, and lots more, anywhere they want. Even at an event like this.
