i have a warranty still left on my car i bought in october. the dealership told me to call them if i ever have a problem. so i did. my windshield wiper needed to be replaced. so they said come on in and we will repair it. so i go today. and they say it will take no more than 5 min. 30 min later, i look and i see my car on a lift. and im lke wtf why is it on there for a replacing of a windshield wiper? turns out no matter what you go in for, they check your car out for any little problems they can fix that you gotta pay for, lol funny day.
since your a customer plus being a women no offense you can still bitch them out and tell them that you just need the windshield wiper and that you need to be a work at a certain work......
if it wasn't under warranty.. they probably wouldn't have done anything.. but seeing as its still in their hands if something goes wrong.. they are gonna make sure to fix it.. last thing they want is a car thats under warranty that needs $1000s of dollars worth of repair and for them to have to pay for it
also.. seriously.. its a windshield wiper... do you have someone pump your gas for you? .. learn some basic maintenance for your car ffs...
i know a little about cars. but i wasnt sure if pep boys sold the inserts to the wipers because thats what needed to be changed. and also, you have to buy a pair or wind shield wipers anyway, and i only needed one. and i pump my own gas, thank you very much, lol. plus, the wipers were free, so i rather get it for free, and not waste one extra and didnt mind waiting to much.
you could go to Advanced Auto and they would put them on your car for free.. All you have to do is buy them from them and have a clean windshield, free of snow and ice..
