'Ello! Jonny here, from Ohio. I've been considering nudism for a while, and have always been a nudist at heart (seeing as I'm a nature lover). I enjoy nudity, but don't have a lot of practice just "hanging out" in the buff. I'm a little self conscious about my body, but then again so are a lot of us. It's a silly notion, when it boils down to it, but can anyone offer any tips or advice on my path to nudism? Peace, Jonny
The first hurdle is getting over the self-conscious about body bit. Everybody has a tinge of this when they first start out. My mum told me decades ago, you should be mightily happy with what you've got and consider it the best for you. Start by getting in touch with a nudist resort and see if you can attend any of their gatherings so you can mingle with like-minded people and 'loosen-up'. Don't git a stuff to those who would put you down for whatever small-minded reason. Just remember what you've got is the best for you and don't be afraid to show it. It must be going in winter in Ohio? Here in the Land Downunder, summer started 2 days ago but we're still waiting for some heat! It better hurry, an 8-day nudist camp / gathering is scheduled from 27th!
My family raised me nudist... Don't worry about it... I've seen fat, thin, old, young... We all like to be naked and we all look a little different (not to mention realistic). So don't worry. Everyone is just a tinge self conscious but it's exciting, and a bit like being in a car without a seatbelt (that's a crappy analogy but all I could think of) to just be out in the nude. Go to a nudist colony, and don't forget your towel for those little moments of embarrassment. Don't be afraid to go to and say "hi" to new people either. Enjoy!
just start were and when you are comfortable. remember getting into legal trouble hurts you and the community. good luck!!
