I know i made a Anvil thread earlier but since i feel so bad for this band heres to them a review about their movie! It's a pretty good movie because it shows you why they never made it bad manager, bad vocals and bad record deals. In the movie you see how lips is very dedicated to what he does with his long time friend robb. They both have jobs at least lips does.... I feel bad for the wifes since they have to live with these guys that after 30 years still dont accept the fact that they will never make it......one of the sister even says how its been over a long time ago..... I do like how the movie ended in Loud Park Festival where Anvil played in front of 20 thousand japs.... other then that i would recommend this movie..... also in the begin you have musician from anthrax, slayer, slash, metallica talk about how great and influential this band is....but my question is why dont they take Anvil on tour with them??? my conclusion is Anvil cant afford the bus and the stage crew.....
It got 5 stars from Empire (film) magazine. Gran Torino came out at the same time, it got 4 stars. Great film.
