i always love and have loved watching ordinary people going through everyday mundane activities during a trip. it always fascinated me how radically different lifestyles and thought processes we are going through at the same time in life. i also try to understand who they are and why they are the way they are. whos with me?
i feel you there. I have always liked to trip in very public, crowded places. a lot to do with people watching and pondering what is going on with everything and everybody that i see. also, a lot to do with the energy that goes along with being in a very public place. the hum of voices melting together, the amped energy of people doing what they are doing. also i think being around people intensifies the pleasure of being alone afterwards
I love watching people do things. I find it really hard to articulate this, but since a trip a couple of months ago, it just seems so strange when someone say, moves an object. Not the best example, but I guess I just like observing how humans adapt their environment for their own uses. I was also tripping at a festival a few weeks ago and I was trying to analyse who were wankers, because it seemed like their weren't many at all. There was this group of three guys who I decided looked like wankers, but then they came up to me and turned out to be really nice and were also on acid.
I went out to eat with some friends while we were all on a low dose of mushrooms and it was more towards the come down and i was watching everyone in there for most of the time and felt like every single one of them were living the most amazing exciting lives for some reason lol but really they were just a normal person but after that i was listening to a couple friends who were talking to each other and i dont hang out with them too often and it was their first time trying a psychedelic and they were talking about things that didnt have anything at all to do with me, like other people i don't know and their plans for the rest of the week, so i completely felt left out and felt really sad for the rest of the trip. i think i gotta plan out my trips a little bit better, atleast so during the come down i'll be with people i know better and in a more comfortable place. lol kinda got off topic but oh well
im with you.. also when im on acid i usually have a huge smile glued to my face.. im on a higher thinking level and people who arent there just seem kind of petty and very silly... but seriously, im with you dude.
Where I live, people still smile when they look at you, say hello, open doors and let you in traffic, and are generally nice. Most of them at least, the people who are from here. Not outsiders. But you can come visit and see. I personally don't like tripping in public anymore, it kills it for me. Unless it is something fun, like a concert or party where you are having fun. But just going into the gas station on alot of psyches is too much, I can't look into thier eyes. I can sit back and watch day to day people while tripping, but I don't like the interaction with non tripping strangers. There was a time when a fellow car enthusiast chased us down and I was on Moxy. I was wierded out talking to him, but I then looked at his pupils under the bright light and they were dialated. And I was like.... I wonder what he is on ?!? lol.
People watching has been a fun keg party activity. Watch and imagine what the different groups are doin. when I get bored anyway.
Yeah when I do it snowboarding, I do this just sit down and watch everyone last time I did it it was a crowded saturday it was pretty interesting. I also kept on feeling like people could really feel my presence, especially when I would look at them or pay attention to them, I even got to the point that day that I made myself believe people were listening to my thoughts, and I could hear theirs to a lesser extent. But a safety patrol guy had a dog and I could tell that dog knew what was goin on in my head. Just like when my cats could sense me focusing on them in a previous experience with 2 hits, this dog was sensing me looking at it. You can tell when their ears are doin some weird shit that they are sensing your trip. One of the most important things that day that I noticed, was that the vibe was wayy fuckin tight at the top of the mountain in comparison to the bottom. The bottom people are all in a hurry to get somewhere, bein all loud and grumpy, but at the top of the mountain, was like I was in heaven, everybody up there nice and peaceful everybody just stoked to be alive and stoked about everything no excuses.
If your having a really good trip where your one with everything, and you walk by normal people, they pick up the vibes. Whenever Im tripping and I walk by people, they're overly nice, like something just hits them and all of sudden, you see people all of sudden put down there problems and pick up there kid and twirl and dance and laughter. The harmony becomes so strong, it engulfs your entire surroundings.
