you can snip a few leafs that may help or hinder bud sites, dont over do it cause the bud sites can get leafy in response..

if you think 10 weeks is good if you start counting buds sites at day one, grows dont record bud site till end of week one hence 8 weeks. from day one of first hair its 10 weeks, let em grow.. /: :)

not many at all. It will hinder growth, Marijuana loves light. This is shy she has such sexy leafs.. maybe if its bushy clumpy and thick take some out the center.. if there are 20 take 4 leafs.. let it respond before you take anymore...
In nature this plant will think and animal is nibblin on it, but not to much it will get defensive, a Female might shift over to male flowers due to the stess..

You'd normally be well into bloom before ya even think about pruning but as said only a few at a time that are covering decent buds, it really is one of them things you gain from growing over years. I'm kinda warming to the idea that the leafs store up food for the end of blooming.
