    i believe its prescribed for coughs, i once discovered a bottle in my home and was pretty disappointed when i experimented with it and found it pretty damn weak. nothing compared to liquid roxicet or codeine, hell id rather prometh than this

    Like a prescription that was never finished or something and stashed away and never used for a long time. I too once found a half bottle of some tuss, when i was reading the label it was dated a good two years old.

    Opiates break down. Should be the same strength as codeine/prometh if it's not decayed. It's just the brand name.

    oh ok i see thanks, maybe at the time i just had a higher tolerancy to opiates than i was accustomed to or as you suggested it was old.

    Should be stronger than codeine/prometh as it's hydrocodone/clorph

    Indeed.

    @ explorer.....if it was "weak", then it was either old or you just didn't take enough of it. You have to take into consideration that it's extended release, also, so you have to dose higher than you would if you were taking instant release hydrocodone.
