Rainbow family gatherings!

Hey everyone i have one major question, since the gatherings have been an on-going event since 1972, does anybody think they'll be put to an end? Im worried because i would like to go to the gatherings, but seeing that im 17 and will be starting college soon i may have to skip out on a few within the next years but ive seen on posts that each year it gets harder and harder to have another national gathering, so im worried on whether or not these gatherings are going to be put to an end by the crappy ass government we have? (Which would so break my heart) Any comments, or words of relief? :bigear:

I have never been to a gathering but i have friends living far away that have and they say there are still spots where ther is just forrest and water and nothing atleast in germany and aslong you are friendly to police that come along and explain what your doing in a psychological mannour then it should be no problem with psychological i mean you can just say that it is just a meeting for people with stress and psychological problem to come back to nature or similar thats atleast what friends of mine did.

Stephen, no it is not I. The only progect I have going is Trying to stay Alive and at this ripe age, it seems to get harder physically. Where is that Younger bdy, that I can attached My mind to, before I lose that also.
Just kidding wink wink. I have no problem with what You say. We all have a different outlook on Life. Me, I'm just a Happy Old(I mean Elder) male species of Humans.

i'm trying to get to ocala, but i can't drive, and i have very little money. i'll be hitching, but if a bad (sick) day happens while i am, i'll end up in a shelter/county hospital throwing up/bleeding from the sores on my spine. once i'm at the gathering i'll be fine, i can medicate myself with herbs and antiseptics, but being on the road in the north in the winter is kind of dangerous to someone with bloodborne illnesses.

 

I agree Brother,as this Elder has many physical problems also and They sometimes prevent Me from doing things. You have to listen to Your body, but don't let it rule Your Life,as You will miss out on a lot of Life.

even ceasar(<-sp?) tried to ban the "gatherings in the woods". we've been doing this a long time. so be here now. gather. we love u. come home soon

 

well , maybe sometime we're in the woods and they tow away the cars and busses , put up a fence all around - and don't let us leave . fine . welcome home !

 

Hope Ocala was better this yr than the past 4...too many aggros and too many hard core drugs. I love all people and would do anything for anybody, but can some elders get together and decide to put an end to "A" camp? Hope I didn't discourage anyone, but let's be serious here.

 

if a-camp was dissolved we'd have them amongst us...i think it's better the way it is, especially if we can keep a-camp far away from main gate. it wasn't too bad last year but we still had to drive through their camp before arriving at main gate...and one of the bastards flattened one of my tires by tossing nails onto the road as i drove past picking up people from the lower campsite to bring them up to main gate on july 3rd! yes, there's room for improvement but last year's attempt was the best i've seen...as far as a-camp that is.

 

Been trying to dissolve 'em in alchohol for years now. Just wont work. And they won't get near water. Suggestions?
