I usually make sure I listen to The Mars Volta for a while when I trip. DragonForce is pretty mind blowing, too.

 

the mars volta is pretty sick.. me personally, my favorite song to trip to was "Maggot Dream" by Buckethead.. i can listen to that song sooober and still depart from planet earth.. and also his entire album entitled "Electric Tears".. yea.. check it..

 

I saw Buckethead play with GnR back in fifth grade. Haha. Cool show.

There is a song by Eliott Lipp that always gets me, Mockingbird something I think is the name of the song. Mars Volta kicks ass, Prefuse 73, Benga, Bassnectar, Rusko, Datsik, Halucinogen, Infected Mushroom, MRK1, Modeselektor, Boards of Canada, Royksopp, Shpongle, Skream, The Polish Ambassador, Vibesquad..

The only time i listened to Mars Volta while tripping i puked up my mushrooms and thought the music was mocking me. NEVER AGAIN!
