The American midwest is boring as hell....flatness, all around...

 

I'm sure there are some nice places

the google search for scenic indiana returned quite a many hits

and there might be some communes and stuff and indiana... I mean it is a perfect place to have a commune, it is safe and anonymous, not many tourists or wannabes. As a matter of fact, One of the first attempts at a Communal Society called "New Harmony" started in Indiana.

 

Oh wow...but I'd rather live in a city during my teenage years/early 20s

 

I didn't mean that we are going to live there. I just meant we can visit some historic places and hippie havens in the midwest.

Besides, We can all afford to live in a commune for only a month or so.... it will be like an experiment, like the ones we see in reality TV shows... or perhaps like a hippie version of a Boot Camp. And it will probably add to our experiences and give us something to remember for the rest of our lives

Even Thoreau did not live in his Cabin forever.

 

Or we could just run off to some woods someplace and live off Mother Nature...we wouldn't need any money, as long as someone in the group knows about edible plants, and how to make fire, etc etc (which I do)... fuck money

yeah, one thing that is good about America is its vastness and seemingly endless supply of natural resources...that is one of the reasons why the North American Natives could live off this land for thousands of years without the benifts of money or urban civilization. If ony we could relieve the lives of those prairie nomads..

i think chuck would be fucking everything and anything, ed would be in some bizzare halloween costume and probably murder me and a few others, caitlin and eric would probably be outside making strange noises repeadedly, katie would be giving sexual favors to everyone, loveflower would be posting on her laptop, pavel and katie would probably be telling everyone how stupid they are and then probably go have sex and make fun of each other during it...

I almost went to new harmony last summer...but didnt get around to it..

 

I haven't been there yet... but I plan to go there soon..

the midwest thing would be cool. meet in a fallow field and hang out for awhile. then walk to ohio. my grandparents own a bar there somewhere....

they have a midwestern marijuana harvesting festval where people gather and harvest the wild stuff.

I think we should go to Hot Springs in Okey. And we can all sit in the big bubbling mess of hot springs and smoke, talk, make love, etc.
