my daughter announced she has a crush on a boy named Chris. Haha...AHHHHH...WTF?! On one hand I think its adorable. I saw him today and he is a lil cutey...she's got good taste. On the other hand Im freakin cuz she's only 6 and well...I didnt think all the boy dramz was gonna happen till a bit later! I thought I had at least 5 more years before I had to start preparing myself for this! She has been dressing herself everyday and trying to dress to impress. It has been quite hillarious. Thanks to Disney I guess she's under the impression that to get a boy to like you all you have to do is wear tons of pink, bat your eyes and sing. So...she's been wearing tons of pink and according to her teacher has been singing up a storm on the playground. OMG!!!! What a goob.

However.... my younger sister had crushes on tons of boys when she was around age 4-7. On all my mates and what not. (7 year age difference mind you). And she would talk about marrying them n all that sort of shit.

Nevertheless it was always just a fad and she'd get over it in a month or so.

We picked up my little brother from his preschool today. He is five, and after we left the building we had to rush back in to get a piece of paper from his 'cubby', a white sheet of printer paper with the numbers '4-0-1' on it.
..He said a girl gave him her phone number.

At first I was like 'aw', but then I though "Man, he is five and already has girls giving him fake numbers"....

I remember the power ranger types when I was a kid. I always tried to be the pink ranger and was shunned.

 

today i was walking around to a friend's house, and on the way an older couple stopped their car, wound down there window and presented me with this amazing huge peach! my faith in humanity definately has had a huge boost after that

 

started my fitness/personal development class. they took all our measurements and calculated our body fat and I only need to lose 5 lbs of FAT to be at the target of 15% so that feels really good since i have 6 months to do it! I'm really glad I have managed to be disciplined enough to get this far even if I am a food nazi.... also Dean and I have been having fun and not taking ourselves too seriously, it makes things easier.

 

Today I robbed a grandma of all her mints.
