    Dude, i'm alright with it.

I like women mostly, but will consider myself pansexual.

I have done plenty with men, happy to admit that. You cannot draw a line under anything, that doesn't exclude sexuality.

Both sex's offer completely different experiences, no point restricting yourself!

couldnt have put it better myself ^^^ :p

as for pansexuality, the word didnt come to mind, but that is pretty much exactly what im trying to preach as well as sexual freedom, people should learn to love for love not gender or looks and such as we are so solidly learned to do. not to say people solely go by looks or what ever, but personality has gone to the wind really, which is a sad thing in my eyes.

I'm a lesbian and totally into women, but....would I kiss a man? Sure. Fuck a man? Eh, he would have to be pretty special and have had a vasectomy. Give a man a blow job? Mmmm, no. Let a man go down on me? Nah, probably not. We are all biologically wired differently. I know I'll always end up with a woman, so I don't think I'm quite that "bisexual". I've always understood bisexual to mean that a person is comfortable with having sex with both sexes. I'm not sure if allowing someone outside of your preferred gender to do sexual things to you but you not return them is necessarily bisexual. But that word is always up to interpretation.

this douche made me resurrect this thread...

ever hear of the Kinsey scale? ever really looked @ why FEMALE bisexuality is so popular, lesbian sub-culture is so revered & yet bi/gay male sub-culture is so frown upon & nearly needs to be subversive? I know those are likely big words for you to handle... if wikipedia isn't against what you were brainwashed into believing when you grew up.... funny you still masturbate, hair never grew... but I digress.. I have LOTS more to say to you...

you mean to tell me, that if someone you knew, a trusted, long term, childhood friend came to you & said she was a lesbian you would turn your back on her? Thought not... if your going to be a biggot & hateful, at LEAST be honest.. if a GUY told you he was gay, you would run away, you wouldn't turn your back on him 'cause he might try to fuck you right? Because that's what all homo's do, is try to fuck & convert everyone? Can we perpetuate more myths?

Your complete lack of understanding, lack of empathy, & lack of temperance (look it up) is only over shadowed by your brow beaten, religiously brainwashed, ignorance.

Sexual preference has nothing to do with politics, religion, tits, cocks, asses, or cunts, its about attraction... DEAL WITH IT... its a natural thing. Thousands of animal species have bisexual & homosexual legions.. There are even species that use intercourse solely for reproductive instinct, but maintain homosexual "relationships"...

Quit dragging your close minded, religiously brainwashed views into animal behavior.

Its like vegetarians taking the high road about political/social issues for their platform... species don't climb to the top of the food chain to eat carrots & cabbage. Whales don't "decide" to suddenly eat only plankton... please... wake up... Putting a social/political/religious agenda behind what you say actually dilutes the validity of your statement & overall cause... Being human means you have the choice to USE your BRAIN & seek information beyond what someone else tells you is right...

after all that... I know ultimately, you will remain, by choice, to be ignorant of the reality around you... as the comedian Ron White says "you can't fix stupid"

At this point I don't even remember what the OP asked... how sad is that...

Ah yes... sexual release from the same sex...

    2 words... Glory Hole
    2 more words: strip club

Its fashionable to be a bi or bi-curious female right now. One quick trip through Craigs List's personals confirms that. Bisexual male... look out...

sexual release is a fundamental, animal release. The external visual, auditory, & media stimulation we face in this age makes the situation worse. I know women who have broken 20+ years of monogamy/controlled "love" & dove head first into situations with women to satisfy the desires they have had to stifle for years... even decades.

not right, not wrong, just is... animal instinct & desire cancels politics, religion, & all other "teachings"

I like everybody. If you choose a side of the fence to stay on, it limits your experiences. However, that being said, there are people of both sexes I'm not attracted to, so if a man says he's not attracted to, or couldn't get off with another man, then so be it. I understand your point about it just being a release, but if I am not attracted to someone, there's no release anyway. Male, female, alien. It doesn't matter.

What I don't really understand is how can someone allow someone else to have sex with them if they aren't attracted to them? Favor or not, the only way to like it or to allow it is if that person is at least bi...

I guess by sobebella's definition, prison would be an example of this? I myself, find it impossible to get my girly boner on if there isn't at least SOMETHING I am attracted to. Even if it's a nice pair of hands. Mmmmm.... prison hands....:p

Good question, which could prove the point that it's not necessarily about gender, but getting off. Truly, "bi" is just another label put on a situation. I like it on both sides, but I raaaarely say I'm bi. But, yes, if you're attracted to things about the same sex, and you fuck them, I would say that takes you out of the breeder category.

Can't we say that a persons life is a kind of situation?

The lines of sexuality do tend to blur, but if one person gets off to both genders and another to only one gender, then wouldn't that be the same as saying that they either like both, the same, or opposite genders? If so, then why not use the label of bisexual, homosexual, or heterosexual if it turns out to be useful and accurate? There are some that simply can't or won't get themselves excited by either same, opposite, or both genders because their object of attraction isn't always on the person because part of the attraction can be said to be based around solely on gender, but everyone is different.

It's like the Kinsey scale, few fall into 0 or 6 but some do, so maybe bisexuality isn't as clear as just wanting to get off, but an orientation of liking both genders

My friend recently tried to test me with my interest in men and said, "hey I'll let you have sex with me". I didn't reply but he said,
"Don't be getting excited, mike ;)"... he really wasn't serious though... - I kinda lol'd and bonered at that -
if he was, then I might have done it... because you see, I love him because we've been very close friends since 3rd grade... but for me I can't do it unless I feel something for that person.

And to add to what auri_rain said; I think many have at least some thought in their mind. We repress these things for one reason or another.

porn, an active imagination, doesnt take much :p and im sure after a while of knowingly being sucked off or w/e by the same sex, youll get used to the idea that it wouldnt turn you off and you could get hard for the idea of the pleasure that is assosiated.

its like the expeirment where a guy rings abell before feeding a dog then the dog gets so used to bell=food that he salivates without the food as long as a bell is rang, only this time, your the dog, the food is the other guy and you getting hard is the drooling :p

lol... Yeah, it actually seems like one continuous situation with nights of sleep in between.

I guess the main reason I don't liked being labelled as bi (though, technically I am) is that I'm not looking at your genitalia when I find things about you that are attracting me. Like I said, it could be your prison hands....:D

Good point, but what if the dog dishes had been filled with rocks instead of food? Would the dogs still salivate every time the bell rings?

I could salivate at the sound of my favorite vibrator, but I'm not sure that I could "get used to" the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard, and probably wouldn't salivate over it.
