Hi barefooters, I am looking forward to some international discussion about barefoot lifestyle and activities and therefore would like to join your group. I hope it will be comfortable like that: (Picture taken at barefoot park Dudenhofen in Rhineland) Ten years ago I was already active as a member of the Society for Barefoot Living, but meanwhile I moved to the emerging German barefoot communities. I concentrated a lot on my German website project to compile all barefoot parks and barefoot trails which have been founded during the last decade. Now I translated part of this and had the idea to continue discussion in English communities. My habit is to go barefoot from early spring to late autumn with very rare exceptions (like difficult mountain trips, very cold days or going to the opera house with my wife). I like barefoot hiking as well as unshod strolling around in cities. Of course, I often visit barefoot parks to check, if my website is still actual, and to enjoy being among lots of other happy barefoot people Live good and stay unshod, Lorenz
Welcome! It is great to have you as a member. I am sure we will all benefit from our discussions. Your work promote barefooting in Germany is admirable!
Thanks for the kind reception! Be shure that my intention is not fishing for complements but telling about some experience, how barefoot life can be promoted at a reasonably low effort. Feel good, live unshod, Lorenz
Welcome to the forum, Doctor. If you ever visit the UK, you can find me at www.watersedgecountrypark.org most weekends.
It has just been decided, that my daugther will study in Birmingham for one year (starting in September), so I'll definitely visit the UK It seems to me that this country park ist well suited for strolling around barefoot. I'm very interested in nature and environment, so it would be an excellent idea to meet there. Hopefully I'll have enoung time left! All the best, Lorenz
