First, I can't imagine why the OP is proud of this.

Second, it honestly looks like the article is trying to talk shit about parents dealing with some hard shit. Leaving children at home together is quite common, and there's no reason it shouldn't be. Apparently the autistic child got away, or was simply violent beyond what the other children would deal with, and was allowed by them to wander. Either way, the parents went to the damn store... And saying the house is in dissaray, dirty, and has no phone... what? it's a house with kids, there WILL be dishes, toys, clothes, torn up things, thigns left out, it's how kids are. They grow up. A lot of people have cell phones and no land line, there's nothing wrong with that.

So basically, it shouldn't have happend and I hope it's not the regular in your sisters household, but it sounds like some pretty slanted reporting to me, trying to make parents who made a mistake with an uncontrollable autistic child sound like abusers.
