i'd have to agree. i don't think there's much value placed on being a decent person these days, even in HOW we are judged as people- we are far more often judged on how we live up to a rigid set of abstract ideas than how we actually function in life. sorry, i doubt that is relevant or makes any sense...i'm ranting now too.
