How about getting a life? Also, abortion is always classified as a feminist issue when it isn't. Being a feminist doesn't make you pro-abortion. It's a more complex issue than that.

(I'm not totally against abortion, by the way.)

    EDIT: Cross-post, too. Fail.

Good for you, I agree however its not a feminist issue. I am a man and I think abortion rights are incredibly important.

    Have you tried googling it?

I don't want you to feel intimidated about posting here. There is nothing wrong with talking about abortion rights in the feminist forum. No it is not singled out as a feminist issue, however, most feminists feel strongly about this issue. So I think you were looking in the right place.

    defending abortion clinics?

Isn't that what the police are for? Or do gangs of pro-choice folks form vigilante crews to protect clinics?

I like that your hearts in it, but ... do abortion clinics need protection from pro-choicers?

I always figured that, you know, cops with guns and shit would be a better choice.

I don't think most of them need defending, period. Maybe a few have been singled out for abuse.

Cops with guns 'and shit' have never seemed to be a better choice on issues in the world such as abortion. Abortion shouldn't be such an issue. If a women feels that an abortion is the right thing for her then so be it. It's not anyone other than the women getting it's choice. So i don't understand why it's such a big topic.
