Im hpapy cause i actually got to bring my laptop to school today. I only have two classes a day, and this semester i have like 2 hours in between them. And i usually just twiddle my thumbs and listen to music, verrrrrry boring. Sooooo, I am very happy that i actually have something to effin do while i wait for my classes
only on tv. i finally saw someone actually bring one to class for the first time in my life yesterday. if i was a teacher, i wouldn't allow them in my classroom.
depends on the school I suppose. At Northern Michigan University in the Michigan's upper peninsula a school issued laptop is included in your tuition cost and you're expected to bring it/use it in almost every class. And if you're in like engineering or something I would think a laptop would be essential at any school
but michigan is also home to a burgening tech industry and lots of research, so it makes sense up there. At FIU I see quite a few people on campus with them, but they just on facebook or checking stocks or something. No actual work being done.
Well, i have a lot of assignments given to me online so i need it. My math homework is done aaallll online. And my computer homework too haha.
ALL assignments at my school have to be submitted online. that's what home computers and the computer labs are for. seems like you should be listening/participating during class, not doing homework.
i never use my laptop during class, thanky you very much. i think its rude. I do my hw when i have 2 fucking hours between my classes. Plus the lab sucks :]
