final phase of 1st ever extraction... tips?

I have my final solution(s) in the freezer right now and the crystals are forming generously at the bottoms of the 2 jars.

My instructions say to take the jars out after 3 days, shake em up, and pour them through a funnel/coffee filter. The DMT will then be on the coffee filter and ready to dry.

I know most of the crystals will be stuck to the jar.

Can anyone tell me what they think is the best way to approach this entire phase?

 

Well, I would use a Flat pyrex dish, if you got one Heat those jars up in water bath and pour into the dish, Freeze, pour off, dry, scrap. You can get a small pyrex dish for pretty cheap at the store. Like 10-11USD

now, what would be the advantages of doing it that way, opposed to the way I originally described?

 

Easier to remove, less loss of product.
