well we can all go back and forth on it but really- we all have our own opinions and none of us are an authority to say who is wrong or right.

Anybody that uses that logic should also agree that we should just ban anything with murder in it, or drugs or anything else that's illegal that you see in movies and TV shows. Lots of people have murder fantasies, or are curious about drugs, etc. So clearly those things would make it more likely for them to live out their fantasies. According to that logic, anyway.

Psychologically many people have fantasies about pedophelia, murder and other things - and it does remain safe as long as it stays fantasy.

So yes, that's one thing I overlooked in that logic (bugger ).

I do not believe in gateway anything. Gateway drugs, porn, or anything else. The concept of gateway (Fill in the blank) is just an excuse to keep or make something illegal. (Marijuana is a gateway to harder drugs.) This is pure bull-vine deification. For those that want to do bad things, no gateway is needed. What I do believe is that there are some very sick people out there (Referring to child porn) who are determined to do bad thing to children. And I don't believe that the posting of cartoon images of lolicon, shortacon, furry porn, or anything else like that makes any difference to the sick people that engage in child abuse. People who hurt children for there own pleasure makes my blood run cold, and my brain burn with anger.
