I'm American born/raised, I really don't know what to tell you. Your preferred name sounds unique. Is there a translation to it?
'ethnicity' is a fairly subjective term. i think that 'jewish' is an ethnicity. it's also a religion, obviously. i think it's unfortunate that there's rarely a distinction between the two, but unless someone has a good argument against it, i definitely think that 'jewish' is a valid 'ethnicity'.
Race: White Ethnicity: Scottish/English/Irish/and Portugese Nationality: American My dads side is Scottish and English. My grandma tells me we're related to William Shakespere. Also on my dads family tree there is a Davy Crockett right around the same time the original Davy Crockett would've been alive. lol. My great great great grandfather on my dads side also was the first to cross death valley and he founded san Bernardino Ca. I dont know much about my moms side because nobody on her side of the family apparently gives a flying shmuck about their origin. However, my moms great great grandfather was a Reagan. lol.
I'm a white, Welsh/Norwegian and live in Wales. Wish it was a little more interesting, but at I am proper proud of my heritage to be fair. Always nice to be proud of the country you herald from!

ooooo There's no record of my mother's side before 1930 and my father was adopted. For the most part, I'm pretty sure I'm African/Caribbean/Cree.. but that's about it. I'm sure there is more. As most people know, slaves took their master's last name, so I have no clue where to look.
My black side is African/Caribbean/Cree too. Also, I think my last name is a slave name, but I'm not sure (It's Walker, which means someone who makes cotton into usable cloth...Sounds like a slave name to me, but I'm not sure).
Im an Aussie but my Mothers side are all English/Irish I dont know my Dad so I got now Idea but his family have been Australian for several generations I think.
Yea im pretty sure Walker is a white surname there are these people in my town and their white with the last name walker there loaded haha
i'm half Ukranian, about 40% Scottish, 5% German and 5% Native American... i got a little english, and jew blood in me too. feels weird to identify with one race over another, so i choose not to place importance upon race. some people say i look spanish, which i think is cool. my last name means "iron worker" in bastardized ukranian, which is the derivation... but it also means "endurance" in japanese and "street urchin" in french.
race: mixed-race, white and black ethnicity: caribbean nationality: british i think haha i'm bermudian. no idea what's going on. there's portuguese, black caribbean, white british and possibly some asian in me oh and my last name is smith. classic slave name. fun times...
My grandfather's last name was Bagby.. scottish My father's birth last name was King and his adopted last name is Robinson. I married a white guy so I have a white surname by choice now..
Man, all this race and ethnicity stuff is garbage. I'm from a country where peeps were physically / violently segregated along those lines, so, well, death to those categories. There are peeps all over the world that call themselves African, for example, yet through choice or circumstance or whatever reason, do absolutely nothing for the continent. Then there are peeps that have some biased allegiance to a specific race / ethnic group because they have a 25% or a 20% or a 50% connection ... through an ancestor. His Majesty maintained that it's what we have in common that is more important than our differences ... and the ultimate aspect that every person has in common is Creation … like the average temperature of where one lives or how / what spices they throw in their food really matters in the bigger scheme of things. Im primarily English with a decent amount of scottish and italian. Also some French too. I have been told many a time however that I look Greek. Cool I guess I don't place huge importance on it, and I agree with DonBK, but it is interesting.
