no, watching a movie that includes a bachelor party, but I've seen the exact same situation happen every time I've encountered the social phenomena irl. the groom has to not be accountable for his actions kidnapping is the only acceptable choice.
Yeah i know it suppose to go that way. Personally i don't know why the groom is suppose to fuck around before his wedding, seems stupid and counter productive to me.
Over The Years I Have Been The "Best Man" In Many Of My Friends Weddings. And I Can Assure You There Have Been Some Crazy Stories To Be Told. One Which Sticks In My Mind, Was Gary, Who Got "Cold Feet" Whilst We Were All Ready To Move From The Rear Of The Church, To Assemble Ourselves In Front Of The Alter... Took Me At Least Thirty Minutes Of Reasoning, To Finally Persuade Him Not to Bolt Out The Back Door As He Intended To Do, But To Go Ahead With The Wedding... That Was Thirty Years Ago, And He Is A Happily Married Man With Three Beautiful Daughters... Only Problem Being *as is the custom* He Had To Pay For Their Weddings. Guess Thats His Fault For Not Having Three Sons..... Cheers Glen.
in theory it's a last hurrah, and it doesn't have to be drinking and strippers and shit, but he SERIOUSLY has to not be accountable, I mean, it could be paintball, hell, bungee jumping, sky diving it has to be a last hurrah AND he can't be accountable.
Yeah but that whole mind set of "last hurrah" seems a negative way of looking at thing imho. Shouldn't he be looking forward to a whole life time of "hurrahs" with his new partner? Meh, all i know is if getting married means i couldn't go paintballing or sky diving i'd have to ask what the hell was wrong with the woman im getting married to. I know there is more responsibility once one gets married, but i hope when i do, it won't seem like such a death sentence. Anyway, i know it's convention, but i dont get it, i'd want lots of sleep the night before i'd get married personally.
I've seen a lot of bachelor related movies including "Hangover" and "I hope they serve beer in hell" recently. They were so so.
in my experience, most bachelor parties aren't actually the night before the wedding. the last one i went to, the bride-to-be had her bachelorette party the same night, and she forced us to meet up with them at a shitty dance club at the end of the night. :ack2:
