Hi Chertl. Sheila just read the post and crackedup. We did so so much back then from living at the Forest Camp with Greg and Buddy in our Busses to us moving our Bus to the Whrilpools (edr beach) till we FINALLY got the little house on the river road. Tiller remembers a lot of stuff back then too and it blows our minds!!!

We made a big mistake tho as Sheila and I never took pictures (well very few) Sheila took some. WOW I had forgotten the Mercedes. Obviously we were doing O.K., by that time!! lol We had the Sawmill then too. A mobile Dem saw mill like the one that Nancy and Mike eventually got. We also made MANY trips up to the "80" and to SF and Portland/Euguene in those days from the 80(our 104 acres on Cow Creek). Do you remember when we put Terry Lanes AIRSTREAM Trailer up there and Had Tubby and Flo living in it!! AH bright moments. Not to bring up any bad memories but Carl used to go to the 80 a LOT during one specific period of time!!

If you could make a copy of that pickture of the kids it would be great. They are still mad because I did not take pictures of them when iIdid the Marley shows!! Have seen some in books tho Caleb was with me the first tour and Tiller was with me the second tour. SO I need any pics anyone may have taken for them.

We only have 1 grandbaby so far Phoebe she is Tillers Daughter and is 8 months old now. She is a blast and she is here right now!! Funny how easy it seems now she is so happy!!!! Ryland was married for 6 years but never had any kids when was playing Pro football and his wife did not want kids!! BUMMER he now has a new lady and he coaches and teaches Special needs children. They are going to have kids this year we all hope!! And then there is Caleb (who was born on Flecks Farm in Milo in the bus) is now ingaged and will marry in September. Caleb did pull a really big one on us three years ago as he went to Vegas and Married a STRIPPER!!!!! That was a trip and it cost him a LOT of money to get it dissolved......YES he was high when he did that!! But of course he knew what he was doing......RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The boys and their ladys all live near us and Tiller lives across the street. We should have BEAT them when they were young so they would hate us!!! BUT NO we just loved them so now they have never left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol Great times and tough times and scarry times have turned into LIFE!!

    TC

    Cheers and peace/love to all

update on mouseman from heather.Hey there,

Just want to keep you all somewhat updated on Mouseman's progress: he had an x-ray early this morning and his lung looks great, it's already at 100% full again. So he has had to stay here in the hospital today, with his gnarly tube in place, and give his lung more time to re-attach to the pleural wall. This is the key thing. Tomorrow they will unhook the tube from the incredibly loud and obnoxious water seal/suction machine (as if sleeping in the hosptial isn't hard enough, either for the patient or the wife!!?) and let him hang out with the tube crimped shut. After a couple hours they will x-ray again to check to see if the lung has stayed up against the wall. If it has, they will remove the tube and he can go home. I'm not certain what happens if it isn't attached to the wall after this first test, I imagine he goes back on the machine for a while and then they check again.

Today he had the extra attraction of having them re-gauze and tape around the tube entry point, as it was bleeding through and they wanted to check the stitches. Oh my god, that was clearly very painful. Then later I saw at least part of why it was so bad. The tape took a fair amount of skin with it. THEN, they pulled the tube out a centimeter, as he was having lots of pain from where the end of the tube was touching inside him. Lovely. And for the finale they pushed on him as they were taping him up, which was clearly also painful. What a trooper, he doesn't complain. Hopefully they won't check and re-tape a second time, as he's now leaking again.

The doctors and nurses have been great, and many have been plied with kettle corn...

I will let you know the results from tomorrow.

    Hello All,

We're still at the hospital. Yesterday in the early afternoon Mouseman went in for the x-ray to check to see if his lung was attached to the wall yet. The good news is that he was feeling pretty good at that point, although bleeding quite a bit from the point where the tube goes in. The bad news is that he failed the quiz, his lung was collapsed again. So it was back on the washing machine and yet ANOTHER incredibly painful fixing of the tube. This time the doctor cinched that thing up TIGHT. Alberto and I left the room for that, and when we came back Mouseman was in agony. Unfortunately, the rest of the day was very dificult in terms of pain, worse than the day before. And the night was hell. He slept for a 2-3 hours, until at 4:00 a.m. he decided not to wake me, and instead get a hold of the nurse call button, which I had not left on his bed table for him (shit!!!). I slept through this whole episode, including when the nurse came in with more pain medication, but that's only due to earplugs and exhaustion. I woke up just after, and he was not getting any relief. I advised the nurses and they came with more medication. After what seemed like a long time he began to calm down. Then around 6 a.m. he says "hey, the washing machine isn't making any noise." Sure as shit, turns out the water seal had run low on water and was no longer functioning correctly. Nobody could figure what had happened. After at least an hour of this I finally picked up the apparatus instructions (which were only in Spanish, luckily they were here!) and realized that the water level should be checked. I was assured it had already been checked (after doing so myself, but I wasn't sure what it should be reading). But then when the nurse came in to REALLY check it, that turned out to be the problem. Adding water made it start right back up again, and of course with that little change of events resumed the pain, which had susided while the machine was down. I informed them about pain again and jumped up and down about having a doctor come in. They gave him more pain medication and the doctor who was on call in the emergency department eventully came in and assured us that having the pain return because of the resumption of the machine was normal, and finally by 9 a.m. he was in less pain. We were supposed to see one of the primary doctors at 9:30, but haven't seen him yet... But Mouseman is up and in the bathroom, and hasn't been writhing around in agony for three hours or so, which is a grand improvement.

The plan is to check the lung again today, I'm not sure when that is supposed to happen.

Thank you to everyone for all your communications.

    Best,
    Heather

Just got back from having another x-ray. I got to see them and the doctors explained them to me, saying that they look 100% good. The left one is actually sucked over extra far against that wall that we're waiting for it to stick to, but that is good. This round of pictures was taken after the whole day on the suction machine (after it got going again this morning, that is). So tomorrow morning early they will come in and turn off the suction and clamp the hose. After several hours they'll x-ray again, and if it stays this time, in the afternoon they'll pull out the tube and we'll go home. Then we'll get to sleep.

    For now; Time to Pop.

    Best,
    Heather

You folks are my heart & soul. Thanks for all the love & support! Well the lung collapsed again after they disconnected me from the machine. So I'm back on it.
I am not allowed to talk (can't answer the phone), but my heart soared when I heard messeges from Steven, Ranger, Zev, Dana, and Leoron!!! It's been a long time my brother!!
I have way too many stories to share with the historian, so I'll get through this. I mean to see you all again on this side; the other side will have to wait.
    Peace, Love,and Good Vibes

You ain't goin' nowhere before me. Mouse. So just back off on the death trips, bub. Seriously though, collapsed lung is a major trauma. How in the world did this occur? My apologies for self-absorption as I have not been checking in as of late. But I digress. Mouse ease up on whatever it is that put you in this spot. I love you so much and sure as hell don't want your contributions to the world cut so short in our time. It's people like you that make the world a beautiful place.

And Dana. God love and bless you for your devotion, love, and care for a most cherished soul brother.
