I decided to cut some 4 yr old dreads to make a fringe.... I cut and then combed with lots of conditioner and I thought it would be a pain in the ass but they combed out well and pretty easy.It was scary though and I drank beer. Then I sewed the 2 dreads I cut off to some shorter ones at the front The result... Hi everyone btw, been a while!

Thanks you lot,I been real busy trying to make some money so I can get outta debt,my internet life manily consists of Etsy now HDH you should do it,it would look so cool ♥ Daisy I hope your good too! ♥
wow, it looks so good! I'd be scared too, can't believe they combed out so well. the first picture is realli cool. I like the shadows. having some silky hair back did it make you want to comb? xxx
Yes I feel sophisticated merrivale Lux it makes me want to keep my dreads even more,I love the contast of silky smooth fringe next to knottyness dreads, its so weird using a BRUSH! and hairspray lol! I has to use hairspray to make my fringe swoosh to the side. thanks for the comments, hdh it was really scary but Ive wanted a fringe for ages and today is one of those Iduntgivafuk days
I cut my dreads to my eye level and then used a flea comb (from co-op) and slapped on a load of conditioner.I found lots of old hair came out,LOADS infact and I was worried that my fringe might infact turn out really short lol! It really only took about 20mins to do. When it was fully combed out it actually comes down past my nose and its also in a straight line too,not like dead straight but it does not need trimming or anything and its pretty full even though lots of hair came out. I think it makes my face look better as I hate my forehead and now I can hide it again, been thinking about it for a year or so now and Im glad I did it.
