At brushing my teeth. More than 50% of the time, as i am brushing (I have my mouth slightly open I don't know any other way) the toothpaste will slowly drip down the toothbrush from my mouth, onto my arm, down my arm to my elbow, and that is where the toothpaste foam drips from my elbow to all around making a mess in the bathroom. WTF. I have never seen/heard of anyone else having this problem. Do people brush with their mouth closed or something? Please this has always been a problem and it's always been annoying mabey somebody has some tips?
tip #1 is get a Sonicare toothbrush or some similar electric toothbrush and move into the 21st century. tip #2: this one is just for you: brush naked. that way the mess won't be a problem.
Hi, for years I feared I was the only one with this problem on this planet. I use to wear black shoes and black trousers which makes the situation worse. Regards Gyro
I used to have this problem. But then I stopped brushing with my mouth clamped shut, and it stopped doing that. I now brush with my teeth on full view, and don't end up with sticky wrists. I'm guessing there's a link. Let me know if this works. I'm curious.
OMG other people have this problem too! Turns out I'm not a psycho outcast weirdo No sonicare for me, I have tried it before, but all you need is an old fashion toothbrush (doesn't make a difference for this issue either way) haha even if i'm naked i still have to clean the mess. It doesn't matter how much toothpaste I use it will happen usually anyways. (I use pea size makey a little more sometimes.)
That thought had indeed occured to me, so it has solved half of the problem, I guess the other part of the day i don't shower I will still have to deal with it. (Naked does not solve anything if you just want me naked then too bad )
Lol yeah you know whats funny I use natural toothpaste and natural shampoo I must be a freak to you guys (sodium lauryl sulfate is fucked)
Oh cool- then it's okay- depending of course on what flavor shampoo you have. Freaks are underrated and misunderstood.
Hay so you are calling me a freak thats not cool haha jk. But yeah honestly I think people who put these poisons in our products and the people who don't care are freaks. This is my shampoo except its aloe vera flavor. http://www.bestnaturalhaircareprodu...cs-Island-Natural-Shampoo-11-fl-oz-liquid.jpg Honestly, I haven't shampooed in a really long time because I am out of town and I cannot find any health stores lol. I would rather not shampoo than use poison. The toothpaste I have been using is KissMyface triple action I recommend it as well. http://www.kissmyface.com/oralcarepages/oralcarepage.html#
Cool- Are you a fellow food label (ingredients lists, not nutritional fallac... errr. facts) reader then?
Yes exactly, that is why I support these products so much, I looked on the ingredients for ANY chem and these are clean. If you go to a regular market and try to buy toothpaste, every one on the shelf will have sodium fluoride, AND triclosan. Not to mention triclosan is in most shampoos, if you do the same thing look for shampoos on the shelf at safeway every single one will have sodium lauryl sulfate. Even the shampoos that say "naturals" it doesn't mean SHIT. For example: Suave "naturals", JASON "naturals", Natures Gate "naturals" they're all bullshit. Yes I do look at ingredients for food as well just to be aware of what i'm consuming, sometimes though if I'm just looking for a delicious snack I will eat pretty much whatever though. Soaps have triclosan too, I have used the same kind of soap for a long time though Irish Spring, Its pretty good but the only thing is it does have "titanium dioxide" which can't be good. Edit: wow. I thought I have looked at whats in my toothpaste alot but now I just noticed Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate?? WTF. did they just add this one? wow I can't believe i never noticed that i feel like crying. I guess its time to keep looking for a better toothpaste again (at least im free of triclosan and fluoride still) So yeah I recommend this toothpaste over regular ones still but there has to be a better kind.
You have my respect brother! :cheers2: I'm not quite to your level as far as shampoo and toothpaste (I really should be!) I salute you for taking charge of what you to to yourself! People seem to have the idea that corporations (food, pharma., etc.) are responsible for keeping them healthy... a collective sort of cluelessness to the prime objective of any business... to make money. I laugh at the illustrated suggestion that people waste things like toothpaste by showing a brush with 10 times as much product as is needed. Funny, I use a tiny pea sized dab on my brush and it works fine... but isn't profitable for them. Heh... people are so thoroughly programmed to serve the corporate entities.
Thanks! Yeah the more you learn about this stuff the more you realize how fucked society is trying to make you. I just go with my best instincts after I learn the facts
