    I’m having my morning coffee
    By myself today
The sunlight enters through the window
    To brighten up the day

I can’t remember why we split
Or who was right or wrong
My heart is just so empty now
I’m sure you will be strong

It’s now the middle of the day
    My phone won’t ring
With a how ya doin honey
    Do you need anything

I can’t remember why we split
Or who was right or wrong
My heart is just so empty now
I’m sure you will be strong

It’s dinner time, I’ll call some friends
To see if they have plans
The night is young and long to end
My fate is in my hands

I can’t remember why we split
Or who was right or wrong
My heart is just so empty now
I’m sure you will be strong

    I’m hugging the pillow
    Where you used to sleep
    My eyes are open and
    And I start to weep

I can’t remember why we split
Or who was right or wrong
My heart is just so empty now
I’m sure you will be strong

Thank you. It is ficticious, however most of what I write comes from a piece of something I feel or have felt. Glad you liked it:)By the way, I'm an old hippie, young at heart.
