I was born a Floyd fan. My dad gave me his record collection when I was a youngster....He had all of their albums beside 2 of them, which I have since then aquired. Including Piper at the Gates of Dawn sealed in its origonal package.

Has anyone watched Pulse? Comfertably Numb holds one of my all time fav solos, and on Pulse they changed a lot of stuff.....but to my suprize It's even better!

He has my vote. Waters is an asshole. In seperate interviews with all members of the band, Waters was the only one whos story was different, even producers and managers all agreed with the rest of the band.

Pulse is one of the best dvd's of Pink Floyd in my opinion. Have you ever listened/watched Live in Gdansk? If you haven't I suggest you do.. it's fucking amazing..
My dad has all of Pink Floyd's albums, too :) I wish I had a record player :(

Of course they agreed with the band, they stayed with and are a part of the band. Even producer Bob Ezrin who was supposed to originally produce Roger's Radio KAOS jumped ship to do A Momentary Lapse of Reason. As Roger said in "perfect sense", Every man has his price Bob, and yours was pretty low.

Look at the recent interviews, Roger was said he has possible interest in working with the band again but Gilmour's response can basically be summed up in "no fuck that", Mason played with Roger at a few In the Flesh shows, and Rick went backstage to a few of his shows and made peace with him years ago(obviously before he died). At Live Aid when they ended Gilmour went to immediately walk off stage and Roger had to call him back to take a bow. Back in the 80's it may have been Roger being the asshole but it is by far now Gilmour.

Plus Roger actually does more musical work on top of social causes.

Saw that interview. Seemed to me like Waters said that sarcastically, knowing the other members wouldn't agree to a reunion with him. Gilmour has had enough of his shit over the years, and I don't blame him.

Have any of you listened to Dub Side of the Moon? Recorded by a group called Easystar Allstars, its genius. Check out the loop of the bong being smoked during money:)

Gilmour ftw definitely. Waters seems like an asshole in various interviews and biographies I've read. Plus, you gotta love Gilmour's guitar work....to me that is the essence of Pink Floyd.

Yeah, Gilmour ftw. I liked waters for the wall and i love the final cut album dedicated to his dad but he's an asshole. Didn't he leave the band and try and claim it all? His solo career sucked. radio waves was wack. The division bell is amazing, gilmours voice is good and his guitar speaks for himself. On an island is good too. I love his epic long hair i wish i had the patience to grow it like that. On a side note, smoke a bowl and download 'A saucerful of secrets' album. It's trippy, a good album with syd on it.
