Well in the recent time span ive lost a job and alot of money......Iam thinking about learning a trade, such as a carpenter, an electrician or something along those lines...Do people on the internet know what kind of vacations go on with these kind of jobs?...Or is it the type of thing where i work for twenty something years and then retire? Or should i go back to school, which i dropped out of kind of because i basically got up and left for vacation...some tips? :cheers2:
You can look at the job corps. they pay you to relocate, train you, and almost guarantee you a job when you are done. And since the jobs will be union jobs you have security, and can go on for as long as you like. As long as you have a GED or Diploma they will accept you.
Yeah but what are the vacations like?....I dont wanna be working year round with only like 2 weeks of vacation..If thats the case iam gonna study my nutsack off in school Lol
2 weeks vacation is about all you get for a few years. Alot of places it's one week after one year then after two or sometimes more years you get more vacation. I'd suggest you go a little more white collar, they get more vacation time after a while. Stay in real college job corps is nice IF and a big if you have fucked up too much to do anything else, like if your 23 with no GED and you realize your working at Burgar King, You may not see it now but trust me in 5 years you will be happy you have a real degree
once you get the license (if the trade you choose requires them)...open up your own business and just take a vacation whenever you want
Crap....Because i havent signed up for this semester so i wont be starting school until september and iam gonna be 20 with only a year of college done...I hope working in a small place will last me for awhile or atleast until i become the god of studying Lol....The only reason i might become that though is because id be able to travel just about anywhere in the world, while with college iam gona be in the same place...Crap
