alright so i just got some seeds from a friend that were out of his bag.. since this weed was balls, does it necessarily mean this weed will be in bad shape as well?

what im thinking is if i grow it under good conditions it should turn out better than those midis

Bag seed is just fine to start with, i've had good results in the past with it.

marblegallery if the weed was shit then the seeds are also shit regardless of how you grow it :(

trust me after 40 years I should know

your weed is only as good as the genetics so buy the best seeds you can

    sorry for the bad news

    theres 2 sides to this:

    for:
    1) if a plant is treated poorly, it will produce crummy weed, but the seed genetics may still be good.
    2) if this is your first time growing, you may not want to waste 100$ on seeds that you may screw up and not even grow properly (my first 2 crops were pretty miserable failures)

    against:
    1) if the genetics are in fact crappy, then you will most likely get sub-par weed.
    2) spending some money on good genetics can result in delicious cannabis that everyone will love.

I agree, crappy genetics yeild crap. But if it is like the oldschool columbian, what is in the bag is about 3% THC but grown properly can be 12%. And you could end up with something wonderful, but I doubt it.
