Smoking DMT w/ Light Bulb

Alright smoking dmt sounds a bit confusing and i was considering just using a light bulb vaporizer. So would it work if i put the dmt in it, close the opening, hold the lighter under the dmt and have the vapors fill up the lightbulb, then put a straw in and inhale all of that?

And you wanna hold it in for atleast 10 seconds right?

 

You should go buy a freebase pipe for DMT.

I suppose it would work, but I think you would loose alot of the vap.

I use the glass cylinder with the ball at the end type of pipe and it works well, I get them at like the mom and pops mini stops.

I used a lightbulb, it worked horribly. Was only able to get weak visuals by smoking this way. A normal pipe works way better. With a normal pipe make sure you put the stuff on an ashy screen and make sure the lighter doesn't touch it obviously.

 

so has anyone used a lightbulb and have it work out good? i was thinkin about just doin it this way if i ever got a chance to get some dmt

i see meth-heads with either a piece of foil or a pookie aka glass dikk aka freebase pipe.

Freebase pipe is a horrible anstly little thing to carry around, and even nastier to get caught with one, stick with a small lighbulb tek with a straw method if you really must smoke it, otherwise just top it onto some weed or ash and smoke through your favorite spoon ^_^ i smoked it thru a dedicated spoon my first time, dont use the dedicated spoon for your other smoking needs, it gets weird with the remnants of DMT when you are JUST trying to get a buzz going lol.

 

I know I posted it elsewhere, but get a 15cm shotgun pipe (yes, its a pipe, got nothing to do with guns). As far as I'm concerned its the only way to roll.

They are also nice for smokeing herb and salvia.

 

The next time someone here smokes dmt they should really make a video of it. Cause I keep hearing different things to do while you smoke it and i really dont wanna fuck it up

 

It's really not difficult. First off, don't smoke DMT, vape it. People will tell you that putting it on herb is good, but compared to vaping it's garbage. Not only does burning it destroy some of the DMT, but it's just very messy, and I mean we're talking about smoking herb + DMT, not DMT.

Vaping it is the way to go. Less harsh on your lungs, more efficient, doesn't destroy the product.

The basic structure is like this.



DMT goes inside the little hole, sprinkled into the circular chamber. Heat source goes under it, not too close. After a few seconds, DMT crystals will melt into a puddle. A few more seconds and the puddle will start steaming. Inhale the steam. Fin.

 

^^^alright that sounds like the best way to do it. do i have to cover that hole at the top when i'm heating it so none of the vapors go out of it?

 

A friend brought one of those here a few weeks ago, after I let him try the shotgun and i tried his "bubble" pipe, we decided unanimously to throw the bulb thing away...

It would seem the hot air convection helps more than heating the container like in that pipe.

I agree on the not useing a herb bed thing, not only doesn't it vape cleanly (although it is easier for a first timer), it will leave tar behind in the recrystalising residue of unsmoked spice, with a clean pipe, you can just light it up again, and give someone a light dose...

 

No you don't. You can if you want, but very little escapes. And you have to uncover it to inhale.

ANC, how is a shotgun pipe different than any weed pipe?

 

Lol, I was just on my way to come and say I didn't mean to offend, just to share my findings.

Erm, well actualy it can be used for weed, I have a Blackleaf one I use exclusively for pot and salvia. The bowl is just big enough for one hit though.

In the bottom of the bowl is a little ball of pipe screens rolled up. This acts as the bed for the DMT.

When you drag on the shotgun, heated air from your lighter is pulled through the DMT which would quickly have melted into the ball of screens. It is very quick.

We found with the little meth pipe you posted, we had to "cook" the stuff much longer with the lighter. As it would seem to migrate to cooler neighbouring bits.

So the diffirence between the two pipes being discussed is convection versus conduction.

Realy man, have a look, I doubt you'd even need to pay $10 in your neck of the woods for the shotgun. Look for the 15cm ones.

i think i'm actually gonna try to make 'the machine'. i was confused about how to do it and was reading a thread on it for like 10 pages and finally someone posted a drawing and then it all made sense on how to do it. and people say they don't get quite as strong of a trip when using that kind of pipe up there and that its much stronger this way.

"This is how I've loaded my machine and had great success before.

1) have DMT ready and machine completely made with steelwool/copper wool in machine
2)With no DMT loaded, act like you are taking a hit through the machine so that you are heating up the metal wire with the lighter
3)Drop the DMT in through the hole in the bottom of the bottle (the one you had to make) so that the DMT drops onto the metal wire on the inside of the bottle.
4)If you did it fast enough the metal should still be hot and the DMT will immediately melt onto it
5)Let it cool

i actually still got a question. When you are inhaling the vapors, are you supposed to keep the flame there the whole time while your taking in the hit? And once your lungs are filled with dmt vapor and you move the flame away from the dmt, does it instantly stop vaporizing?
