dreads=prick?

Judging by the forums and the time I've spent here, I've come to the conclusion that people with dreads are more likely to be assholes, do you find this to be true? discuss...

 

I honestly just think it is people who post in forums.

 

It's just the ones that try to be different because they have dreads.

"Oohhhh look at me, my hair is different then everyone elses, it must be a ticket to act like a weirdo."

 

Only the ones that think that, oh if you didnt do your dreads 100% neglect then they are stupid and not real dreads.

 

Oh man, things are really not that bad here. I've seen forums that were in constant flamewars. I noticed, as IRL, that shit happens when someone a bit different from the rest of the users was coming in. This is probably what happens right now to you 73N5H1. I don't say to go away because you're different, far from it. We're all different and that's what makes the world interesting. Just don't care about those pricks picking on you, (someday) they'll grow up.

 

^This... of course the only other forums I've hung out in were graff ones and those are full of some EGOS let me tell ya. There's not much worse than a 14 year old with a massive ego, nothing to do, and unlimited access to the interbone. This place is pretty fucking tame by comparison. If you want lovey dovey dreadforums, they're out their dude, but I find them to be pretty boring. I come here for the non-dread discussions more than anything.

Edit: I actually read that other thread right after posting, and all I have to say about that, is that TENSHI, you should know better... at least judging from your early posts.

 

Lol this is in response to me obviously nice irrelevant topic. But on a straight note I wasnt the one who made a smartass remark and disrespected another forum member out of nowhere in a topic that obviously didnt have anything of interest to you. I never mention you i forgot about you actually until you posted that post so yea. I hate when little babies come around on free speech forums and end up whining about being mistreated by others then even go so far to make a topic about it. You were the one who was disrespectful from the beginning so expect to be disrespected back

 

Actually was in response to someone else entirely that made an asshole comment to me that I've never even spoken to, but yeah, you're included too. And the post I made in NPs topic was just doing the same thing that you and him have done to me and others on here time and time again... talking shit without provocation, so I thought I'd give you both a taste of your own medicine. You seem to forget the many times you were a dick before.
So no, I wasn't disrespectful "from the beginning" I was simply giving back to you what you dished out to me... same goes for NP... very first response I ever got from NP was a rude ass comment that he made without any reason other than being an asshole. No one's whining... just pointing it out.

I've been on quite a few forums and yeah, many of them have disrespectful people, but nowhere near as much as I've come across on here, so I'm just making an observation.

If you're so against the way I look, then don't fuckin' look at me, simple as that. No need to talk shit and start arguments. You don't know me so don't act like you do. I stopped judging people by the way they look when I was in Kindergarten, guess the two of you never got past that level.
Point is, no matter how much you hate and despise me for what I am or for how I choose to look, I'm still gonna be here, so deal with it and move the fuck on. If your internet gangster talk scared anyone, they'd be gone by now... no one's impressed. All you an NP do on here is talk shit to people, try to be smartasses and brag about smokin' herb... reminds me of the little kids in elementary school braggin' that they drank a beer.
I don't start shit with people without provocation... I'm just givin' what I get. You treat me with respect and you get it back... show me disrespect and I'll happily do the same.

I mean I have been pushed to the point of just not coming back, but some very sweet and nice people told me to stay, and I have just been ignoring the insults as much as I can.

it just gets old and annoying to hear the same insults over and over, and i never did anything to anyone, or say negative things.

 

I can see how I might come off looking like the asshole to the new people on here but you and other people that have been on here for a while know where I'm coming from with this. There's only so many times you can brush something off and let it slide before you wanna choke someone.

 

i get where you're coming from, i just think it's pointless to bite. you're just opening a dialogue with them which gives them further opportunity to piss you off. and it seems like they've been successful. maybe it would be better to have a private bitch with someone to let off steam rather than opening a public dialogue?

 

I'm a lot less pissed off than I sound, more annoyed than anything. And if you keep kicking a dog over and over, they'll eventually do one of two things... get up and leave or bite the shit out of you... I'm just not the get up and leave type. And I have no interest in privately messaging any one of them. I think that'd be even more pointless than this. If they were the rational conversational type, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place.
So think of this as airing out the closet.

didn't say I was going to choke anyone... just that, sometimes, the way people act make you want to choke them.

metaphorically speaking... provoked may have been a better word.

perhaps... just amazed at the high concentration here.

 

I gave up on caring about this as a dreadlock forum a long time ago. My life got better once I did - especially after RT was closed and needed an outlet.

When I post at KL - it's because I feel like being a right ****
When I post here - its because I'm feeling mildly jerkish and bored
When I post at DT - it's because I actually want to take something seriously (Yeah, we're pansies - lick my bleed hole it you don't like it)

But mostly the jerkishness isn't about the hair, its about the internets.
