need advice on growing shrooms...

ok me and my buddy orderd some spore kit, i think it was some kinda equadorian psiliocybin spores. Anyway we got 4 cc's, and he injected them into the grow chamber with rye seed....hes had them for almost a good 2 months and just gave them to me. Its pritty much this big nasy looking mushroom cake the size of my fist, and he told me to keep it in this plastic container, and it holds moisture, but the mushrooms arent fruiting??? Arent they suppost to grow off the cake??? Any thoughts or help??? Thanks

 

induce fruiting conditions: you need to introduce light, and fresh air exchange to the cake. some sunlight from a window for a few hours, and a good fanning with the lid of the container should help get things going. do this every day, and maintain a bit of moisture by gently misting the cake a little once a day.
in these conditions after a week or two you should have mushrooms.

be patient. it can take some time - up to two weeks!
