In a world where everyone is on a never ending acid trip, would drugs that make you feel what we consider to be normal be illegal?
Depends, if everyone in the world were on a never ending acid trip i feel as if people in general would be more open minded. That being said i dont know if a drug that made you "normal" would necesarily be illegal, however i do think that it would be looked down upon by society. If the drug makes you "normal" there for closing your mind and improsoning you in your ego the open minded society would strongly look down upon this drug of normalcy
Only because you consider it to be normal. To someone who has never been able to have a sober thought it would be an entirly new experience
Depends if either racial minorities or rebellious free-thinking youth take it in the USA. After that the rest of the world would slowly follow suit.
i dont think its nessesarliy lsd that makes one more open minded. its stepping outside normalicy and being introduced to new forms of conciousness that puts truths into perspective. in a world where lsd conciousness is the ordinary, the normal drug would probably be feared for being conciousness altering
i don't know if i'd want to be on a permanent acid trip. i'm not syd barrett.. although i do respect the man.
acid trips are probably too long as they are... 12 HOURS? like c'mon. don't you get bored of it? someone told me that after about 8 hours they grow sick of the trip and start drowning it with beer..
Actually I cherish every second and am filled with the melancholy of watching an old friend leave for another country when the trip begins to subside. "Another time, lucy!" That still does not preclude taking downers at the tail end. Sleep is simply a logistic inevitability, and sometimes one is in situations where one needs to get sleep ASAP after a day of tripping. But if acid was boring and needed to be drowned out . . . why take it? You uh . . . you fearin' them racial minorities takin' over your streets eh
considering how difficult simple things are on acid, such as trying to turn your tv on but instead you end up getting lost in a corner of your room for 5 hours, I really don't think a standard society could function on a never-ending trip
