Actually, this is an excellent topic. Obviously, Fox is biased. Increasingly, I'm wondering about the biases in all my news sources. My local CBS station has gone from being pretty good to just a tabloid wanna-be. I wonder about the power and reach of huge corporations who have Senators and Reps in their pockets. How do you decide what you can trust?
Nothing really, I've come to depend on the daily show for my news, mainly because I find out what is going on without a biased opinion. However, CBS,MSNBC,CNN,FOX? They all suck. NPR and huffingpost.com aren't bad either.
NPR is way better than most, but sometimes I do wonder about their coverage of the Palestinians. They seem a bit apologetic about Palestinian terrorism.
Well when you consider that the Western world has pilliged the Middle East for centuries you can't really blame them for hating us.
Yeah, they are. Other agencies and news stations - here and around the world - use them...but attach their own spin to the more reasoned articles/info provided in those links... Sometimes the others just leave stuff out... lying by ommision is still lying, right?
I like to check out all of the gossip, myself. The National Enquirer, the old guy sitting on the park bench down the street, and word of mouth. There's a bartender I know who has some pretty good ideas about national and world events, too.
Fox News has the most sexy women on it, so I watch that, I don't give a damn what they have to say.. Peace
Well, then, the best news source would be the one where the newscasters are naked. http://www.nakednews.com/
According to no lesser authority than Time magazine, the website Naked News "offers the best international coverage this side of the BBC". "I think people are watching it for the news not the nakedness" Dianne Foster, weather presenter http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/1298380.stm
Interesting, but that report is 8 years old. If you go back that far, you would find that CNN was the most trusted source for many people. No longer.
