They do mean it. I mean, just so you all know, it's a neat side effect to have unless you have a massively tortured psyche, but, yeah.....

last night wasa non-linear dream (ran like a movie where the end happens in the first scene, and then we work our way through different aspects of it in a non chronologically linear way) about a guy who was emulating batman, for fame, glory, women, maybe all of those things, maybe none of them.

he wasn't me, I couldn't control him, but I was riding along in his head, I did not feel his pain, but I could make helpful suggestions.

it started with him smeared across the pavement in downtown gotham, his blood drawn across the side of the building in a big smile.

it was pretty evident who had killed him.

batman (the real one) was discussing the issue with comissioner gordon

and the narration was taken over by them, and a novel written by someone who had once emulated batman, or claimed to, successfully for a year, batman didn't believe the man had, and most of the contents of the mans book were bollocks (he suggested that batman was several men who answered the call, and he had been one of them, not emulating batman, but being one of the army of men who were batman)

and the dream, still structured as a non linear movie, was broken into sections heaed by chapters of the book (getting my equipment, Training, The car... First night out)

My ill fated vehicle (batman wannabe) managed to last three weeks before his idiocy caught up with him.

at one point batman actively told him what he was doing was stupid.

    and saved his ass twice.

Sounds like you might need a stunt sleeper to do your dreaming for you!

5-htp give me really weird dreams, sometimes lucid where I can control the dream. One time I had a dream that was basically like a psychedelic trip, and everones faces were made of this stuff taht I could somehow distort it was really weird.

    Fun dream; boring, over-analytical description.

Well, if you could plug directly into dave-o-vision I'm sure it would have been more fun

Although I don't know if you'd WANT to plug into Dave-o-vision.

Your ability to recall dreams that vividly suggests something about your sleep patterns- though I'm not sure what. Whether or not I'd enjoy "Dave-o-vision"- which in all fairness would need to be a full sensory experience and not just visuals is certainly up to debate. The concept of at times having compromised control over my movements and thoughts I find extraordinarily unsettling. It's as though your brain decides that you're going to trip- whether you like it or not- and off you go.

The dream is an interesting side effect of the meds. Are they effective and is the nature of your "journey" such that drugs and dosages need to be continually changed?

Zonegran reduces certain bits of neurological activity, and increases other bits.

I remember dreams vividly in streaks (like, for three months I'll remember dreams as though I had been awake and experienced them, and then for six I won't remember a single one) and I think that's just a biorhythm thing (always been that way, even pre meds)

As to the effectiveness of meds, I haven't had any seizures lately, and "weird dreams" (which have recently included me witnessing a melting clock murdering salvador dali and hiding his body under a merry go round at great america, so that the presidents could ride, the batman dream, and one about diffusers... which is more confusing to explain than to experience, so, I just won't go into it..)

just happen sometimes, they do happen more when I am on a higher dose of meds, and if I take melatonin, or something else to sleep I am more likely to have them.

I'm also more likely to wake up with a headache, which might suggest that there is seizure activity happening in my brain which may catalyze the dreams, but that is nothing more than speculation.
