This is an interesting question. I feel we still are; however, there are many hoops to jump through, and it is easy to be discouraged. The system in place has effectively squelched the revolutionary spirit that should be present in every American.

This is the spirit of the Founding Fathers, the Abolitionists, and the Civil Rights activists.

Once we realize is it our patriotic charge as Americans to harbor this revolutionary spirit, we, the people, can stand against anything.

America is not the government. America is not our president. America is certainly not Congress and the Senate. America is the mindset of a people; a people who drafted the most radical document of all time - the Constitution. We can not sit by idly and expect this document to fight for us; we must fight for the Constitution, as we did over 200 years ago.

My personal opinion is that the united states should make a new constitution,since americans already forgot about the first one. It is the only wake up call that we have left.

You know what I find sad? We have the power to change this country. We whine and act like we are helpless to do anything. Don't you realize that we have the power to get these people out of office? We have the power to stop corruption. We have the power to build a country that truly is free. But most people just keep saying "I'm just one man. I can't change." We accept the current system out of either apathy, laziness, or fear. Here's what you do. Organize. Work to inform the public about what's wrong and what they can do to stop it. We stop voting for the same corrupt politicians that basically set up permanent residency in our government. As one, we may not be able to do much, but if we work together to shine a light on the corruption, cheating, and infringment of rights, then we will have a chance. The revolution starts at home. Then we move it to the street. Then the neighborhood, the city, the county, the state, the region, and then the country. Remember, even the american revolution started with one man saying to another man, "This sucks. But I have a plan to make it better."

 

well all of this talk is fine and dandy but if you guys are looking for a solution we all gotta band together and take action. stop sitting on ur asses waiting for somone else to start it for you. you guys have to get out there and organize! rally! PROTEST! the one right that hasnt been modified, limited or taken away yet.

 

so tru the govt. says we have rights but all they do is jerk us around,we must stand up for ourselves,...brothers and sisters!!!!

The majority being as complacent and gullible to the guiles of the media and so forth as they are,,, I think the only real solution is to let things take their course at this point, vote for the most unscrupulous NWO leaning / Empire building politicians on the ballot, support every totalitarian agenda they bring forth in the name of national security or the good of the people, let them gain the full throttle of control, take full form in the light of day as it's really hard to put a stake into the heart of darkness while it's still in an ethereal form.
Started long before Truman started pointing fingers at "Commies" and involves more players than simply American politicians businessmen and money lenders. I wont even pretend to have a clear view of the origins of this mess but the problems it's brought to American society are visible clearly as far back as the first great depression, perhaps even the Haymarket riots.

If you take to the streets in protest, the "powers" are going to shoot you down, just like they did to the Bonus Marchers. The "powers" are going to infiltrate your ranks with treasonous "cointelpro" agents, once they catch on to you. The only way to beat the "powers" is to use your influence with your friends in the military. The military is the only power on earth that can beat the "powers." Coup d'etat is the only viable solution at this late stage of the game. You've got to convince your friends in the military that the real enemy is sitting in luxury inside air-conditioned offices on Capitol Hill. You've got to start talking to your friends in the military, and you've got to convince them that they should turn their guns on the traitors in the ranks of their own government.

 

Do you really believe that the USA is fighting against a true enemy when it takes part in these senseless massacres against innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan? The sad fact is that we're most definitely NOT fighting against a true enemy in either of those places. The true enemy is directing us to fight against a boogey man, in the hope of destroying us and our military.

The USA is going down because of treason from within. The average US citizen is so incredibly benighted, and we're really just a nation of gullible buffoons and television watchers. The Israelis are taking full advantage of us. Just look at that smirk on Rahm Emanuel's face: It shows absolute contempt not only for US national interests, but also for those silly "patriots" who went rushing off to "war" against people who never did them a lick of harm.

 

its so not smart.Why cant we just help each other like Bill Hicks idea. I rember he went on a rant during one of his stand up and at the end he like screamed feed the hungry clothe the naked and explore space. Pure Genius, like for real the leaders of these world countries obviously have enough intelligence to understand how to solutionize the problems faceing our world which is by far the most intelligent world of them yet we still cant settle petty problems. Everybodies letting evil pricks in the chair of power. Fuck.
