    The Decemberists
    The Long Winters

IAMX are a good group. Probably the answer to any Muse fan.

Also, I strongly urge anyone with a hankering for good voices, to check out the group Ours. Jimmy Gnecco is the strongest singer in rock. His voice sounds one part Jeff Buckley, one part Bono, with a lower range reminiscent of Ville Valo of HIM. I strongly urge people to listen to either band, if you are looking 'your own little secret'.

Otherwise, I am a huge Smiths fan, and anyone who likes Indie should really listen to the kings of it all.

And Citizen Cope is some good stuff, great suggestion. Heard him on an episode of Scrubs and the rest was history.

The Trews. Hadn't heard of this band until the other day when a friend of mine sent me this widget attached to their new record. I think you'd be into it. And yeah, Citizen Cope is awesome too.

go to pandora.com and make a radio station based on a band you like. it will play music from similar bands. you can also type in an artist and find similar bands INSTANTLY

that's how i heard of The Anniversary, Interpol, and some of the bands that you listed like Arcade Fire
