Mixtape Trading Society?

Here's an idea for all you indie people.

On another site, someone decided to start a 'Mixtape trading society' where people send their mailing address in a PM to someone (ie: me), and then they get matched up with someone who has done the same thing.

The purpose of this is, of course, so that the two people who have never met can introduce each other to their own musical universes via their very own Mix CD! Seeing as we all have similar taste in music, I don't think it would be such a terrible idea.

No-- I don't mean professional DJ mixes, I mean a bunch of songs burned onto a CD... but that doesn't mean you can't do a professional DJ mix if you're able. I'm sure we all know how to make CDs here, and everyone has music that other people haven't heard of...

If you don't know how to make a mix tape, here's a site that gives tips and suggestions, but of course, that's all they really are-- suggestions...

Wow! Thanks for not letting the thread die out guys-- here I was thinking nobody would ever want to do it...

Let's set a date of say October 15th for people to sign up, that way everyone has heaps of time and the packages could be mailed for Christmas!
