Has acid changed in the past 15 years?

When I was in high school, I'd trip all the time. Five bucks, drop in the evening and be up all night. Names like Silver Star, Blue Saturn, "Purse," which was a weird name but hey... it was 'cid. I remember just laughing at every... little.. thing. Everything was hilarious and my face would ache by the morning. I quit using before I graduated and that was a long time ago.

Anyway, I was talking to a 17 year old the other day who admitted he wanted to try some LSD but couldn't find it. He wanted to know what it was like. I told him my experiences. Then he told me that acid is way more powerful than it was when I was a kid. Is this true? I would think things would get more diluted over time. But then again they say that bud (which I've never had a taste for) has gotten wack in its strength since the 60's. New ways of cultivation, etc.

So, does anyone know if acid is more powerful these days? Swim would consider trying a different brew all these years later. Like visiting an old friend and have a few laughs...

I have a few friends that do it, but I tend to stay away from shit that messes with my reality. I'm pretty much set in my ways, I stick to the few things I like. I had a bad experience with bars recently, so I don't even do that anymore. I'd think its about the same.
