Whats your drug of choice? Explain why.

Caffeine is mine cause it can turn any bad day at work into a better one, while still being on the job. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

 

Caffeine? That seems a little weird doesn't it? I mean.. If nobody would have told me, I would have never even knew caffeine existed...

what makes you think DXM was the cause of everything? i mean, i know you said you did it daily for a period of time, but you were using other drugs as well, right? atropine alkaloids are also known to do some weird things to your mind and there have been stories of people with lingering problems after ingesting these.
don't get me wrong, i know DXM can have long term effects (experienced them myself), but do you attribute your issues in general to DXM only or to everything?

also, did you end up making a decision about mushrooms? i know you had a thread a while ago about that.

 

Well to be honest, I've did many drugs more than once. I want to put most of the blame on DXM only because of the way I feel every now and then. But also some of the blame goes towards the other drugs i've did. I mean.. I've had alot of bad trips.. but 10 times more good trips then bad. I could sit here and name all the drugs i've did.. But I mean it wouldn't really help anything.

Also, I went shrooming the other night with a friend. He lives on a barn. So he has his own cowfield. He told me he has found many shrooms out their many times. He says they feed them saltblocks so I don't see how thats possible. it was two weekends ago. We didn't find anything. But the next night he found some. Which I don't see how considering it was raining right before we went. Ha. I guess it just wasn't meant for me to do them. That was my answer from God. He didn't want me to do them, because he knows what will happen. So i'm glad things turned out they way they did..:cheers2:

 

Drug of daily choice is weed. I smoke it every day, it helps with my pain, makes me think clearer and calms me down a bunch.

Drug of choice that I can't find and really want is LSD. It is a life changing drug, is has little bad side effects, and if I could, I would do it everyday in mild doses. Everyday life on lsd would be awesome in my opinion. I haven't found it in forever, but I will never stop looking.

Hahaha. DXM is not a "I kind of like it" Its a "I fucking love or hate it."

 

I used to do lots of DXM, too. I still like it, but there was a time where i was using it way too much.
I hardly remeber 2 months of my life last year because of it. I used it three time two years ago, then I was taking other drugs like oxy, some LSD, when I could get it and weed. Then I came back to DXM when my ex-gf went away for a month.
I did a few insanley high doses at the beggining of that month, then continued on at abou 2nd plateua for another while.
It gave the world such a wierd twist. Everything seemed so trippy, but it was all because of this chemical raging through me. I did some really good writing, and the spelling was terrible. But i corrected it after I came out of that haze and it was actually pretty good. But it made me realize how much that drug really changed how i viewed things.
I swore I would never let a drug use me, but i realized what was going on after a strong acid trip one night, and stopped using it for a while. I still trip on it sometimes, but I give myself at least a month break in between.
Now, my fave drugs are as listed:
1.LSD ( I have always loved psyches more than anything.)
2.mushrooms
3.Molly
4.Cocaine ( I don't use it that much, though)
5.Marijuana (getting stoned is great, but I have kinda moved on from that for a while)

 

Your right. This would be my favorite drug list.

1. DXM [Retired from that permantely.]
2. Opiates [Retired from that also, But I take Suboxone]
3. Weed [Can never get old in my situation. To some, this get really old after a while and then it moves to psychedelics. But i'm telling you, Weed will NOT endanger your life if you smoke responsibly.]
4. Ayuascha [Used to do it, Don't want to take the risk anymore. I can still get it if I want.]
5. Belladonna [I used to do this every weekend. The hallucenations were crazy. I really wish I could do this just one more time..]

anyway, my 5 would have to be (in no real order):

1. DXM (indefinitely DONE with this)
2. mushrooms (love them)
3. DMT
4. Oxy (but opiates can get iffy)
5. weed, of course!

i plan on trying peruvian torch very soon and from what ive read about it, that sounds like the ideal psychedelic!

hippiechild, you liked belladonna? i've heard that it can create some bad feelings of isolation and fear, was that ever the case? i just haven't heard of too many people who dig deleriant tropane alkaloids

 

Yea I love it so much. I liked feeling like there were people with me, cause I was very lonely.. Some of the people I hang out with, when they wasn't being a gay dick, were there keeping me company most of the time.

But I guess this could have resulted in my problems now...

I'm serious! I have a very high IQ. If I would have never touched drugs, I would be at Yale right this minute studying in Medicine. But my brain has healed tremedously over the past year. I've made lots of progress and everyday I feel smarter and smarter when I don't touch psychs.

Btw, I still plan to go to Yale at some point.

i also saw a while back you said something about your actual brain functioning being visibly different since DXM, found out due to some tests... when was that? do you remember what exactly was different?

it's just that brain/mind stuff really fascinates me, pardon my grilling you but it's an interest of mine

 

Like the way I see stuff.. Like when I see someone say a word.. that moment they say something, it echos in my brain over and over again.. It would be crazy for me to explain.. cause no words can. Its like the moments that happen repeat in my head over and over again like a crazy echo.. but its not really happening.. and things continue to happen like normal.. Sometimes.. I used to feel like I wasn't even here.. like If I looked straight and couldn't see my body.. I would freak out.. and have to look at myself to know that i'm actually here. Or loud and sudden noises freak me out really bad.. I mean i'm always jumpy.. but for example, a motocycle going by really fast makes my adreniline shoot up so fast.. It feels like my heart just jumped out of my chest.

Thats just a brief description of what I feel like.. Its gotten better over time.. took a year for it to actually get better.. so I somewhat feel normal... And its probably why i'm able to smoke weed now...
