swim doesnt have experiences with lsd but he just bought one blotter from friend, problem is that his friend didnt know what substance is on the blotter.. when swim asked his friend told him "that thing that is usually in blotters":) but swim is very sceptical about this being an LSD.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT ARE THE MOST COMMON SUBSTANCES SOLD IN BLOTTERS INSTEAD OF REAL LSD?

one more thing, can you describe a taste of LSD blotter? this one is very bitter.

Most acid I have taken over the years had a bitter taste on the paper. this was always explained as the flavor of whatever was used to dilute the crystal LSD and get it to stick to the paper.

This may be the case sometimes, but its probably rare.
What kind of solvent has a bitter taste, including the different types of ethanol beverages, that can be noticed on a .25 in piece of paper after evaporation?

I believe that the slight bitter taste is generally caused by the gelatin some people use in the LSD solution. And maybe in some cases by the ink on a tab.

But a strong bitter taste will always be an RC... or someone spilled vinegar on the tab.:D

Im sure it was an rc, ive been taking acid for 5 years, with about 100 plus LSD trips and only once did the paper have a bitter taste so im sure it was an rc

    Heh, Mickeys Bigmouth Blotter.

P.S. If your source isn't reliable, I'd personally suggest sticking to LSA. My experiences have shown me it's nearly identical but comes and goes in waves of random duration (Perhaps simply a matter of dosage?) as opposed to the 8 to 12 hour excursion.

Just do your best to be certain that whatever your source is, it hasn't been chemically treated with preservatives or "germination enhancers".

There's a number of good sources like Hawaiian baby woodrose, morning glory and I hear sleepy grass (Stipa Robusta) as well but I've not tried that one.

LSD is generally tasteless in the amounts found in an average dose. It does have a very slight bitter taste, but usually not detectable by most people. Most likely what a person is tasting are chemicals used in the manufacture of paper. They use chemicals, acids mainly, to break down the pulp and make the slurry easier to work with. Paper is also often treated with bleaches, dyes, preservatives to prevent it from yellowing, etc.
That is why you can purchase "organic" and acid free paper.
If there is a heavy print or a lot of print coverage on a sheet the inks could also add to the taste. Stick as small piece of construction paper or regular ink blotting paper on your tongue and it will most likely be bitter. So it really depends on the type paper the persons who laid the sheets used.

If it has an intensely bitter taste, then the likelyhood of it being DOC or a related RC is very high.

It sure as hell isn't because someone cut it with beer.:cheers2:

I used to find a very slight 'metallic and chappy' sensation on the roof of my mouth after every legit acid trip I've taken, but that's about it. I figure it's legit anyways, the blotter was smaller than a fourth of an inch and literally paper thin. I don't imagine what other chemical could fit on a piece of paper that small and send me into the world it did. Best wishes to the OP.

^ yeah thats what I was gonna say. real mild metal kinda taste in some blotter. definetely not bitter though. Bitter usually means its most likely one of the DO-s.

liquid L doesn't really have taste, texture or anything to it IME. thinner than water.

but one of the best ways to know is by the come-up time. LSD comes up in 30 mins. RCs that can fit on tiny blotters take considerably much longer than that usually.

Is that true about it being cut with gelatine? Gelatine is made with horse products, and many hippies would be very unhappy to hear that harmless acid has animal products in it!

Pure LSD has a slightly bitter taste, and can take up to 2 hours before effects are felt. There's this meme going around that if there absolutely any taste on the blotter, and if you're not faced in 20 minutes, it's not acid. This is simply not true. I once had a three hour come up, and it was acid. When I ate 5 hits it was pretty bitter, and it was acid. and those 5 hits took 2 hours to come up, same for my friend, same for other friends. It's not always fast, it depends on your personal metabolism.

I had tabs sold to me once as "acid", they were white with the Om symbol on them. They tasted bitter, took 2 and a half hours to come up, and had me tripping hard for a long time. I am certain they were DOx now, the effects are similiar to LSD, and without much experience with LSD at the time, I was sure it was what I was told it was because it was so good. And then I had some real shit. Never thought a drug could feel so clean. But LSD has never taken over an hour to kick in for me and my friends. I also swallow my paper without sucking on it. I think it kicks in faster if you swallow right away.
