What are "Corperation cigarettes"? Anyway, in the 1970's cocaine became very popular, almost as common as pot. A judge here in Boston actually came out in favor of its legalization. Strangely, no one seemed get addicted, and it was considered by many to be a "soft" drug. I only tried it a few times because it was so much more expensive than pot. I liked it, tho. Used a lot during my honeymoon and it enhanced the sex. It seems to me the turning point was in the late 70's when people started to free-base. David Crosby writes about that in his very interesting autobiography, "Long Time Gone." I never tried it, but apparently its effects are a lot like crack. This seems to be when cocaine turned into a "bad" drug. Then there was the coming of crack and the death of Len Bias and the demonization of all drugs by the Reagan administration in the 80's. Even today, I wonder how bad cocaine is. If I was offered some at a party, I would do it, definitely. This hasn't happened to me in 20 years, however.
I thought it would be obvious i mean an average cigarette made by corperations (tobacco with those extra additives)
Haha, the truth is that its more so what you do every day thats going to get you. Using cocaine a few times a year like say, mushrooms isnt going to 'mess you up'.. But if you're not taking care of yourself properly in the in-between time then you're never giving your body a chance to heal.. i suppose its how you're using it.
well once people started freebasing cocaine that was the invention of crack, because when it's freebased it allows you to smoke it (=crack) but most of that stuff you said is pretty interesting. I never knew there was any legalization movement for cocaine other than when it was used medicinally.
The purer the drug and more efficient the delivery method the greater the potential for addiction. Smoking is a very addictive act just in itself, let alone the substance one might be smoking. Smoking provides the fastest delivery of chemicals to the bloodstream second only to injection. Both nicotine and cocaine are very addictive when smoked. I believe they are the two most addictive substances known. So yes the turnig point was when people started smoking cocaine regardeless of how it was done then, it still worked and was the predesecor to crack. Purer, faster delivery= higher addiction potential = problems. They both are nasty IMHO
Ahahahah well your wrong I have done both on occasion and never was addicted to either. I just do not want any, but if i want to try it again later in life than i might because i know i have control.
I could swear to god on christmas that it was occasional. Lets see I have smoked 50 cigs evenly spread out over 7 years and coke 10 times over 2 years.
